Fantastic hotel, located 10 minutes from Mykonos town. This hotel is ideally located near Platys Gialos Beach (great for kids) and Psarrou Beach (where the fabulous beach club Nammos is located and the high end luxury shopping area is located). These are all within walking distance. If you have kids, I highly recommend renting a car. The hotel contracts with a car rental agency and the car can be delivered and picked up at the hotel. The parking in the hotel is free. The hotel staff are at the TOP of the customer service we received in Greece. They were HIGHLY ATTENTIVE to all of their hotel guests. Constantly anticipating our needs and offering their help/ assistance for anything. They will sit with you and go over the map and offer their personal restaurant Recommendations based on what your family prefers. They listen. They offer safety tips and advice. They offer their own shuttle (for hire) for those who do not wish to rent a car. This is just the staff in the lobby! The waiters and pool staff were awesome and friendly. My kids (age 10/12) enjoyed chatting with the staff, who remembered their drink preferences and interests. They made my kids feel special and I felt like my kids were well attended to at the pool and throughout the hotel. Now…the breakfast buffet! I challenge you to find a better breakfast buffet in all of Mykonos!!! Any kind of drink you can imagine (with the staff remembering your preferences and setting the drinks down as you arrive). My husband was extremely pleased with his daily omelets while my children got made to order pancakes and waffles with all sorts of toppings and sauces. They had hot foods, cheese and meat selection, traditional Greek cheese and spinach pies, an assortment of different types of Greek honey and nuts. There was a yogurt and parfait bar, fresh OJ that the machine squeezed and an entire dessert selection that I tried to stay away from. The set up was fantastic and was a perfect way to look forward to the start of the day. The room: perfect for families. We picked a suite with a private pool. The suite section is not in the main hotel building and is tucked in a quiet area on the other side of the pool. This suite was ideal for my family because the living room area contained two single beds, which accommodated my 10yo girl and 12yo boy well. It is in the room right as you walk in. The bathroom section (I called it a section because there was no dividing wall) had a toilet behind one door and a giant spacious shower behind the other. In between, there were two sinks. The two sinks took up most of the counter and did not provide much counter space. We used the large open closet area across to hold most of our toiletries. The bedroom had a wall and a door :). There was a beautiful canopy over the bed. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The AC unit worked well. There was an outdoor sitting area with a couch, table, and two loungers. My kids were pleasantly surprised to discover that the pool was 5 feet deep, as opposed to shallow. The pool was beautifully lit at night night and there was a gorgeous view. It was very easy to access the main pool. Of note, there is a small fridge in the room and a market about 5 min walk down the road. That market has snacks and drinks to take to the beach and sunblock if you need it. Only downsides: bathroom counter space and only one bathroom to share between the 4 of us. If we came back to Mykonos, we would stay here again. Also, we know now we need to rent a car to...

Read moreI'm going to be extra careful with this review as the hotel doesn't like criticism, imploring my wife to remove a similar review from TripAdvisor. Essentially, the hotel advertises itself as a 5-star hotel and charges 5-star prices. As such it must deliver a full 5-star service and be very aware that such a rating attracts seasoned and experienced travellers who expect the very best. In some aspects, the hotel delivers. The staff are plentiful, well-trained, friendly and work very hard to ensure your stay is enjoyable. But in most other categories the hotel fails to live up to its rating. The hotel is a 'boutique' (small) property so it's going to struggle to deliver the spacious accommodation expected of a 5-star property and this showed, particularly in our room. Although the room itself was perfectly adequate it was 3-star size and amenities at best, with just one plastic chair provided to sit on in the very corner of the room, with waste basket under. At this price and service level we expect adequate room to relax without lying on the bed. It would have been impossible to eat room-service style. The en-suite bathroom was particularly small. The 'sea view' was indeed of the sea but only a small, grey sliver through power cables well beyond the pool. Breakfast is international hotel standard, first class but buffet-style. The public areas are severely restricted, e.g. the bar is part of the reception area, quite dark with too-low seating and not a convivial place for a cocktail before dinner, and the small restaurant was empty and soulless as it could not be expected to compete with the busy and excellent taverna 50m down the (pavement-less) road. There are no other lounging or other relaxation /public areas except at the pool and a small seating /smoking area outside the hotel. The pool area itself is unimaginative, provides little shade (none at all over the children's pool) and has minimal/no view but it does have LED pool lighting that is attractive at night. In summary, we found the hotel perfectly fine for a 3-4 star stay but wholly inadequate as a 5-star, top-priced hotel. It is trying to up-sell itself and in our case, unfortunately, it succeeded. We should have taken more care to read the reviews, hence my adding this one. In my (considerable) experience I estimate the value of what received was approximately half what we paid. I realise the situation in Greece is pretty tough right now but this experience is unlikely to attract us back to Mykonos, unfortunately, without being much...
