I had an unforgettable experience at this hotel. The staff is top notch in terms of service. All of our requests are always met. Hotel of smiles, friendliness and sincerity. Made me feel here as free as home, they were more like my friends than serious staff . They were very attentive and took care of us non-stop. I have stayed in other luxury hotels but the service quality here is worthy of 10 stars. Has real value for money.
Everything around is extremely beautiful and interesting. It was like a maze and the alleys made me want to explore. I can even walk to the nearby beaches and shopping village of Nammos. I have stayed in the hotel for 2 days, still not enough to discover all the services and mysterious beauty somewhere in the hotel. I wish I had stayed longer than a few days.
I was given a valuable surprise by the hotel. They suddenly raised the room for me in an unexpected position. I feel surprised and touched by this great gift. Even they are very psychological with us everything. When my daughter had dinner in the hotel restaurant. A baby is a picky eater and only eats well if some chefs cook good. I am very stressed to provide her food. But it's a pleasure because the restaurant is completely helping and cooking the food according to the request (not on the Menu). Amazing, i looked my daughter eat 1 piece of chicken breast and more than half a cup of rice. I am very surprised and happy. Because it has never eaten so much. A 13 month old baby. The chef here cooks very well, super top. I am Asian. but surprised by their culinary taste is very balanced and attractive. Made me feel like eating the flavors of home. They bring my favorite drink. They cared that my daughter was cold and offered to bring a warm silk blanket for my daughter. The dinner last surprise was that they gave my daughter a free meal. I try to offer to pay them more because they deserve to pay more. But they don't accept. The dinner was full of delicious and wonderful food. We ate very well. And the meal was really cheap for me for such a lavish 5 star hotel. In Austria we ate at some restaurants also 90€ for meals with a bit stress staff or normal service. Or in Little Venice is 50€ for cheap food or 80€ for restaurent. we have 3 people. But here , this hotel for dinner is only about 100€ (really meal for 3 people) which makes me emotional about everything at the restaurant. I wish the restaurant was right in Vienna so we could come eat every weekend. I love food and especially good food. I love to experience multinational cuisine. This is the super chef should rank top in the world.
Once again I am filled with regret for leaving Mykonos early. I wish to return to this hotel. Everything here is perfect. Keeping a pure white room is really hard like you have to protect your shirt every day. I admire them because they do not stop cleaning and painting to keep the white color very well. If my room smells of paint I'm not surprised. It was completely refreshed and immaculately clean. The smell of paint will go away in a few hours while I'm there.
Everything in the interior is minimalistic, Greek-style white. They have their very own style. Suitable for those who like their style. If I come here to pay for a location and a fully furnished modern room. Something that I can easily find in Austria or Vietnam, it will no longer be interesting. I absolutely love the style here. Minimalist rusticity and many discoveries with many hidden beauties. The impression made me leave with nostalgia. Paying the money for this hotel is totally worth it. Even housekeeping 2 times a day, they will check if evening you need help. Or they arrange and deliver when you come back to the room and marvel at what they do to take care of you. I like that too much. It's far beyond other luxury hotels I've stayed in.
One day soon I will come back again. A big thank you to Mykonos Blu for giving us a wonderful stay. I love you all....
Read moreWe stayed at the Grecotel Blu on Mykonos for over a week for the 4th time in May 2024. The location and architecture of the hotel is unique, it is certainly one of the most beautiful hotels in the Cyclades. There are sun loungers, towels and showers/toilets directly on the beach for hotel guests, and security has now also been deployed to ensure that no strangers use the hotel beach. You feel safe there and everything is very comfortable (drinks and food can be ordered directly to the beach). The beach is made of fine gravel, which is pleasant to walk on. The beach slopes gently into the water (which is still relatively cool in May) and turns into sand. We have been to other beaches by excursion boat (Superparadise, Elia etc.), but nowhere is the beach as sheltered from the wind and with such wonderfully smooth water as here directly in front of the hotel. The yachts are always interesting to watch (the Kasper 7 was here yesterday), as is the crowd from the exclusive Nammos Beach Club next door (Muppet Show at its best). The music from Nammos is limited and it is quiet from 10 pm. The whole beach is clean and well maintained. The hotel offers excellent service and gastronomy. Nowhere else is there a better breakfast with such a wonderful view and plenty of tables in the shade outside. We sat long into the morning at breakfast, which goes on until at least 10.30 am, enjoying fresh fruit with coffee freddo, freshly squeezed carrot juice and delicious egg dishes. Many thanks to the attentive kitchen team, who were always courteous and warm and read our every wish from our eyes 🩵. Dinner was also fantastic with a very good selection of wines and at reasonable prices.
As there are only a few cabs on the island, we usually took the bus to the old town of Mykonos in the evening (2€ per person instead of 40€ in a cab, bus runs 1-2 times per hour and directly opposite the hotel). However, we recommend getting on at the first stop down in the harbor, as the bus is already full at the weekend (tickets are available from the kiosk on the way there or from the driver himself). The old town of Mykonos and Little Venice are wonderful and the quality of the restaurants is even better than in the bay of Platos Gialos. We highly recommend the Lakka Garden and Lucky Fish.
The hotel rooms were tastefully and puristically designed, with a wonderful view from the balcony and twice daily towel service. Here it would be sufficient to only change the towels lying on the floor. It would also be more environmentally friendly to provide a limited number of towels for the beach instead of automatically replacing them after use on the beach, but this is my only criticism.
The guest service and all the staff is incomparably attentive and friendly. There is even a 24-hour WhatsApp service, which I often used to let them know when the room should be cleaned or the minibar filled (still water and coffee are free). Lots of thanks to Nicos for the many attentions and arrangements. Because the balcony above us was being renovated and we had more dust and dirt on our balcony as a result, we were offered lunch on the house as compensation, for example. This was also delicious with a fantastic view. After a week, we were deeply relaxed and fully recovered. The hotel has its price, but everything is...

Every expectation we had was not only met but exceeded in a fashion that can only be described as "unreal."
The island's bewitching charm was perfectly complemented by the Grecotel Mykonos Blu's picturesque location, overlooking the iridescent blue Aegean Sea. The hotel's design, a harmonious blend of modern aesthetics and traditional Cycladic architecture, created an enchanting backdrop for an experience of a lifetime.
Stepping into our suite, we were greeted by a haven of luxury and comfort. The elegance and attention to detail were astounding, from the immaculate marble floors to the stylish, minimalist furniture. Our private infinity pool offered panoramic views of the ocean, turning every sunset into an unforgettable spectacle.
However, what sets Grecotel Mykonos Blu apart from other luxury resorts is not just its stunning setting or plush amenities but its extraordinary team and the unparalleled service they provide. From the moment we checked in, their warm, sincere hospitality made us feel like we were part of a close-knit family, not just guests in a hotel.
The staff, led by their competent management, were consistently going above and beyond to make our stay unique. Be it our preference for morning coffee or arranging impromptu trips to explore hidden gems of the island, every little detail was catered to with diligence and a smile. Their unfailing commitment to provide exceptional service was clearly evident in every interaction, setting a new benchmark for hospitality.
The gastronomic experiences at Grecotel Mykonos Blu were a symphony of flavors. Each restaurant curated a diverse menu, reflecting the richness of Greek cuisine while infusing an innovative flair. From freshly-caught seafood to locally sourced produce, each meal was a celebration of Mykonos's culinary heritage.
When it comes to amenities, Grecotel Mykonos Blu is second to none. The wellness center offers a range of rejuvenating treatments that eased our city-weary souls. The private beach, a stone's throw away from the hotel, was a serene sanctuary where time seemed to stand still.
In conclusion, our stay at Grecotel Mykonos Blu wasn't just a vacation - it was an experience steeped in luxury, comfort, and unparalleled hospitality. This wasn't just a dream getaway; it was a transcendent journey into a Grecian paradise that we will always cherish. We wholeheartedly recommend Grecotel Mykonos Blu for those seeking an extraordinary escape. This is not just a hotel; it's a world where every detail is curated with passion, care, and an understanding of what makes a stay unforgettable. Here, dreams don't just come true - they are exceeded, redefined, and transformed...
