my wife & I recently returned from 4 night stay & left totally relaxed...All the staff were so friendly & helpful, there are several pool areas. The one near the bar has music playing but if you want quiet there are 2 others with enough beds to go round..the rooms are spacious & clean & the beds comfortable. The hotel will pick you up from the airport for a small charge.||I was slightly worried about Mykonos prices but its nothing like I was told, we went with 1000 euros came back with 400...we ate some lovely meals with mains around 18e & cocktails 15e this was at the Yialo Yialo restaurant...avoid DK Oysters they will seriously rip you off & it was good to see their restaurant was empty while all the others were busy.||Beach wise we went to the one near the hotel, you walk up the drive way turn right, take about 20 steps & the bath down to the beach is on your left. we used the middle restaurant as their beds were 50e a pair, while the other places charged 200e or 300e not quite sure why anyone would pay that much when its all of 7.50 for 2 beds here in cyprus.||Ask for directions to the bus depot which is less than 10 min walk, as you're walking to it you'll see a buggy hire place theres a path (alley way) you walk along that turn left and you'll see a hotel the bus stop is there, & its 1.90e to Mykonos town ||Mykonos town was lovely beautiful sunsets and we ate at a noodle bar for 6.50e or you can spend a fortune if you want..drinks are pricey, cocktails for 20e or beer for 10e & they are both small..most seemed to take their own to sit and watch the sunset||||back to the hotel...they do responsibly priced drinks and there a limited food menu that was available till 6pm||Breakfast was very nice loads of choice ||room had a plunge pool||very quiet, which we loved & were able to recharge our batteries& return home refreshed.||Room has a fridge/safe/coffee machine/toiletries/radio plus all the other usual things||we stayed September 13-17th ||would I revisit you bet...probably the friendliest hotel staff ive...
Read moreWe stayed at Mykonos Drops for a week during May half term with my husband and our two grown-up children, and for the price we paid I was absolutely thrilled. This is a gorgeous little hotel – spotlessly clean, stylish, and very easy on the eye.||Our room was lovely: immaculately clean with very comfortable beds, a smart TV (so we could watch Netflix and Amazon), and high-quality toiletries that I actually preferred to my own products! The only downside was the lack of storage space. With limited room for clothing and nowhere to store suitcases, we found ourselves living out of our bags, which made the room feel smaller and more cramped than it needed to be.||We had a pool directly outside our room, which was a great feature, but unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side – and since the pool isn’t heated, it was far too cold to use.||Breakfast was included in our rate, but this is the area that let the hotel down. The options were disappointing: cold cuts of meat and cheese (often covered in ants), bacon that was always stone cold, and no clear information about what else was available. We only found out halfway through our stay that eggs could be ordered, when we saw another guest ask for them – something that was never mentioned or signposted by the staff. Coffee was another frustration. The machine often wasn’t working, so we had to request coffee from the bar, which made us feel awkward about asking for refills. Even when a new machine arrived, it also broke down during the week. Overall, breakfast just wasn’t an enjoyable experience.||That said, for the value we got, I really loved this place and would happily recommend it to friends and family. It’s in a great central location - within a few minutes walk to the beach & restaurants. There is a big hill so maybe not so suitable for anyone with mobility issues.|With some improvements to the breakfast service, this hotel could be...
Read moreWe stayed for 3 nights which was just perfect for our stay here. We arrived late at night, the hotel had arranged a pick up from the airport for us and the driver was waiting when we arrived. A short journey to the hotel where the lady on reception was ready to greet us. So friendly, very informative, nothing was too much trouble. She walked us out to the street and indicated where we could get food so late at night, extremely helpful. The room was lovely and clean, maid service every day with clean towels and also clean pool towels. We had our own plunge pool which was a real treat and also cleaned every day, but the main pool never got too busy, there were always beds available. |Breakfast was perfect, you were asked if you wanted fried egg or omelette when you walked in (The omelettes were delicious) cereal was available, fruit, bread, cake, sausage, bacon, local delicacies, fruit juice and coffee. Again the gentleman at breakfast was so kind and helpful. |The hotel was in a perfect location, only a few minutes walk to bars and restaurants and also the beach. Keep walking along the coastal path and you’ll stumble across some hidden little coves. The bus stop was at the top of the road (5 minute walk) excellent bus service and very cheap. We had a day in Mykonos Town. |We were catching a ferry on to Santorini, the hotel arranged transport for us to get to the port, door to door service at a reasonable price, no hassle, no stress. |If you want a quiet retreat within easy reach of bars and restaurants and the beach you couldn’t get anything better. We can’t wait to go back, I wouldn’t stay...
