Castellano Hotel & Suites — Hotel in Municipality of Nafplio

We came with a large group from all across North America to travel through the Peloponese region of Greece. We had a 3 day stop in Nafplio, and pretty much filled the whole hotel, along with a couple of groups at their sister hotel 3sixty down the street. Out of the many hotels we stayed at - this ranked as one of everyone's favourite! Each room had it's own charm. From the comfort of the rooms, the amazing location right in the Main Square, the plentiful breakfast but most importantly the service and care from the staff. We had an amazing time in Nafplion and the Castellano Hotel was a wonderful place to stay. It was perfectly located downtown, with easy walking access to all that Nafplio has to offer. The service was 5 star, the breakfast every morning was outstanding, and the rooms were clean, cozy and comfortable. The only negative in our room was the shower set up. But is certainly a preference that many others might love. We just didn't care for it, as the toilet and sink were on one side, and you had to walk out around the corner to take a shower. A perfect location in the old town, but you can’t drive all the way to it. The hotel will send someone to meet you nearby and bring your bags if you have a car. Apart from the great location, the staff really make this place special. One of the receptionists made the effort to hand write recommendations for the rest of our trip around the Peloponnese. We did almost everything she recommended and it was all fantastic.
