I change star rating and review "Great coffee great loukoumas great service" to 3 stars for ok service (some are super kind and helpful). Ordered the typical loukoumas / fried dough/ round donuts for my nephew. My other nephew ordered pizza and adults ordered other dishes such as waffle and club sandwiches. The dishes for the adults were ok. The loukoumas were utterly disappointing (I tasted one). Chewy with each bite to give an awful aftertaste of bad frying oil. We characterized them as stale. The worst we had at this place, which we visit for over 11 years for more than once and in different seasons. Our disappointment was voiced and the manager came with a passive aggressive attitude to confront us that nothing was stale but the temperature of the dough decreased so the dough was chewy and kept going. He asked "how was the pizza?" And not the other dishes. Clearly because it was a frozen baked product but it was ok for my nephew as he eat some slices.

With obvious anger suggested to tell them at the beginning such issues and not at the end. This couldn't happen as the child was eating the loukoumas, knew something was wrong but couldn't voice what's wrong until I tasted them.

Going back, this summer a strawberry daiquiri was served with ice and a strong lime taste. No strawberry flavour there. They changed it but it was still ice with a strong lime taste. Never have I had such a daiquiri. Ordered in many countries. But, service was appreciated (fruits and nuts were we l served with the drinks).

Ordered a pizza and the tortellini pasta with the sweet chili sauce option. When serving it clearly looked like I got the cheese sauce instead. When I asked the waiter who served the food he said it wasn’t sweet chili sauce and checked the order. Then the waiter who took my order turned around and said that the sweet chili is inside. I can however negatively confirm that they got the order wrong and gave my the cheese sauce. When paying the waiter just typed the total amount into the machine didn’t give us the bill first despite asking he just ignored us.

Nobody likes being lied to. Mistakes happen but the waiter handled it poorly. Place is nicely located on the square and looks fancy with its furniture, service is amateur level. So many other restaurants in Nafplio old town where the service is so much nicer. Don’t...

Early Sunday we sat down just after opening. The waiter was most impolite, asking if we were hotel guests, then sort of reluctantly replied to our questions about crepes that were on the menu. So, we really didn't get a response about the type of ingredients served in the savory crepes. Mine came loaded with very cheap oily mozzarella pizza cheese, (in Greece i expect fresh cheese served for breakfast) that I managed to scrape off as it was way overpowering.
