Amodara Boutique Villas — Hotel in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

Amazing, perfect, idyllic, best vacation ever! Those were some of the words my family used to describe our time at Amodara. Where to start? First, we travel a lot and have been all over of the world on business and for leisure. Without a doubt, our time with Katarina and Nikos at Amodara Boutique Villas was one of the best. The property itself is exquisite in every detail – the peaceful private pool, the comfortable beds, the luxurious five bathrooms, the fully stocked kitchen and minibars, the terrace, the beautiful surrounding landscaping with vineyards and olive trees. But most of all, it was Katarina and Nikos’ genuine warmth and caring of their guests that we appreciated. They arranged transportation, tours, sail boats and restaurants from places that held the same high standards they had. They would cook amazing breakfasts every morning with local Naxian produce and dairy. And, they were always attentive, responsive and wanted to know whether we were comfortable throughout our stay. Located in Agios Prokopios, Naxos, Amodara Villas was constructed in 2019 by Katerina & Nikos with care, patience, exquisite taste and love. The Mykonos designed villas were beautifully curated with focus on every detail. They were inviting, caring, attentive and welcoming. Do not look further because you will miss out on being pampered and, I promise, that you will be writing your own 5 star review. Clean, well stocked with amenities, breakfast that was incredible, assistance with all reservations and recommendations can’t be overlooked. A short walk from the villas is the beach center with shops, restaurants, e-bike/ATV rentals/car rentals, boating excursions (which we did and we visited the Blue Lagoon plus many caverns in the bluest, most turquoise water that you will ever see!!). There were 7 guests in our group and we fit wonderfully. The pool was refreshing and clean. It’s hard to put into words just how wonderful our time at Amodara was. Where to start? The villa itself is beautiful and exactly as advertised. We loved the outdoor area/kitchen and the pool is perfect. The grounds are impeccably kept and it was so lovely to be surrounded by vineyards and fruit trees. The location is great - a quick walk to many restaurants, grocery stores and the beach. As well, it is a very quick drive to Plaka (9 minutes) and perfectly situated to drive to some of the most breathtaking beaches (Cedar Forrest / Alyko Beach, Hawaii Beach, etc) along the west coast. Perhaps the best part, however, were our amazing hosts, Katerina and Nikos. They are warm, helpful, welcoming, and like old friends that you will miss when you leave.
