Harokopou studios — Hotel in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

We were really impressed with Harokapou studios after reading some worrying reviews. |The studios are located just 100m from Finikas beach and taverna so if you are looking to kick back and relax this is the perfect place. The studios are simple, but clean, linen changed most days, floors swept and bins emptied. The air conditioning is fab, hot water in the shower and a suitably equipped kitchen. There is a balcony for each studio. It’s about a 15 minute walk into the town where there are loads of cute cafes, bars and 2 supermarkets. The studios are run by the paradise hotel. They collected us and dropped us back to the port and on the first day picked us up from the supermarket. You have to check in at the Paradise and if you have any issues then the manager and staff there will sort things out for you. The beach is great and the ferry boats that have all day hop on hop off for €5 drop off at the pier there. We were incredibly impressed by the whole experience. Great value for money and wonderful staff for simple studio...

During our 4-days staying:||- No cleaning||- No bedlinen change||- No towels change||- No toilet paper change||||No glasses, plates and cutlery provided.||No plastic curtin/screen between shower and bathroom.||Poor quality of soap, shampoo, ...||Transfer from the port to the rooms and check-in : a lot of confusion.||No reception : check-in has to be made in another hotel (Paradise Hotel).||The receptionist was lost.||Poor quality furniture.||Gives a strong "cheap" and "neglected" feeling.||||Good location close to the Foinikas / Harakopou beach, nice exterior parts... but the worse hotel we've ever stayed in the Cyclades since the last 15 years !||||It's a pitty, it could be MUCH MUCH MUCH better...

Studio is just for avoiding. Nothing is there. Nothing from XXI century. Wondering if any from the last. Even Google can not locate it properly. No sign or name of studio anywhere except kind people in the island to help you. Plus, you need to go to "resort" for check in at 3 p.m.! No wi-fi. Furniture very old. Almost everything broken or half working. But, price is very, very high with 100% prepayment. Now, I know why, because then you can not change your mind...
