Gikas Apartments — Hotel in Municipality of Northern Corfu

I don't often give 5 stars but feel I had to here. The place was spotless and the Aircon was good!

The village wine was cheap and plentiful and the town is fantastic.

Vasilis welcomed us and was very warm and friendly. There's a lovely family atmosphere at the apartments with peace and tranquility the most overwhelming quality. The views are amazing. The apartment is a good size and very comfortable.

At the bottom of the hill (we'll come to that) is a great little restaurant called Fantasea that I'd recommend. People are so friendly and helpful.

The beach restaurants are all good quality and the sea is like getting in a warm bath.

Now, that hill. I can't describe how steep it is leading up to the apartments. I'm fit and healthy and didn't mind it but if you don't have a car or struggle with your health and fitness, the hill could be a problem. So consider this if you fancy staying here.

Toller Urlaub mit unglaublichem Ausblick, das bieten die Apartments von Vasilis Gikas. Toll gelegen, auf einer Anhöhe, in dem schönen Ort "Agios Stefanos Avliotes". Ein Ort der nicht überlaufen ist und eine Vielzahl an tollen Tavernen und Bars bietet. Vasilis Gikas hat für jeden unzählige wertvolle Tips an der Hand, ob Ausflugsziele, Sehenswürdigkeiten oder Tavernen. Dank Vasilis haben wir Korfu kennen und lieben gelernt. Die Apartments verfügen über alles was man für einen Urlaub so benötigt, es fehlt einem an nichts. Sollten dennoch Fragen oder Probleme auftreten, wird einem sofort geholfen. Besonders erwähnen muss man die Aussicht von der Terrasse, mit Blick auf den Strand und Agios Stefanos Avliotes. Wir haben diese Möglichkeit zum Sonnenuntergang bei einem Glas Wein (wird dort selbst gemacht). genutzt und genossen. Dafür herzlichen Dank an die Familie Gikas. Die Apartments liegen zur Erkundung des Westen, Norden und Osten perfekt. Alles ist mit einem KFZ (Parkplätze direkt vor der Haustür) zu erreichen. So kann man täglich eine neue Bucht zum schwimmen anfahren, wenn man dies denn möchte, denn der Strand vor Ort gehört bereits zu den besten auf Korfu. Übrigens, wer sich gerne sein Frühstück selbst machen möchte, findet in Agios Stefanos Avliotes eine super Bäckerei. Für den täglichen bedarf ist ein Supermarkt fussläufig zu erreichen.

Von uns gibt es für diese tolle Unterkunft 5 von 5 Sternen und für Vasilis und Denise noch eine extra Stern. Wer Korfu besucht, sollte sich diese ziel nicht entgehen lassen.

Great vacation with incredible view, that's what Vasilis Gikas apartments offer. Great location, on a hill, in the beautiful village "Agios Stefanos Avliotes". A place that is not crowded and offers a variety of great taverns and bars. Vasilis Gikas has countless valuable tips for everyone at hand, whether excursions, sights or taverns. Thanks to Vasilis we got to know and love Corfu. The apartments have everything you need for a vacation, nothing is missing. If you have any questions or problems, you will be helped immediately. Special mention must be made of the view from the terrace, overlooking the beach and Agios Stefanos Avliotes. We have this opportunity to the sunset with a glass of wine (is made there). used and enjoyed. Many thanks to the Gikas family for this. The apartments are perfectly located for exploring the west north and east. Everything is accessible by car (parking right in front of the door). So you can drive daily to a new bay for swimming, if you want to, because the beach on site is already one of the best Corfu. By the way, if you like to make your own breakfast, you will find a great bakery in Agios Stefanos Avliotes.

For the daily needs is a supermarket within walking distance. From us there is for this great accommodation 5 out of 5 stars and for Vasilis and Denise an extra star.Who visits Corfu, should not miss this...

We loved our stay at Gikas! The apartment was newly renovated with stylish finishes and modern appliances. It was super clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The host was really helpful and shared some great tips of areas to visit nearby. Amazing view from the apartment for sunset evenings - definitely worth the hill (which is really not so bad). We were really happy with the area too - not as touristy as some other spots, but still had really great food and drink options for the evening. Easy short walk to the local beach or short drive to some of the other beaches in the north too (some of the best in Corfu). Would definitely...
