Eriannas snackbar — Restaurant in Municipality of Northern Corfu

I was on my own my way to the Cape Kefali, as far as I know a public area, when I noticed this place. A bit unorganised, at a first glance and seemed abandoned. Then, I noticed it was a snack place with nice terrace with View. In my way back from the clif I was thinking even to have a coffe but I first wished to see the venue better, which is normal. The man there fixed me the whole time and seemed anoyed of May presence. !!! I only looked, not even stepped on his venue. He asked me If I wanted a drink but something was unconfortable in his Voice so I refused. His answer: "this is a business, so please go away, do not walk around Here. I am trying to work." and did a aggressive rejection gesture with his arm. Everywhere in the world is this "business "it is normal to look at a place before deciding to stay. I have experience with it. I am sure he was nowhere treated like that. It seemed like, he is aggressive with people that walk by if they do not buy. Unfortunately he is also not inviting. Beautiful place, bitter person. One good experience could bring positive review on many e- Sites. One bad experience can also be shared everywhere in the world. I wish him peace and maybe he will learn to treat people the way he would like to be treated as a customer, like it is normal in this business that is "...

Beware of a Dangerous Scam on This Route!

We had a truly disturbing experience using Google Maps to navigate this area. The route led us down a filthy path littered with garbage, old broken appliances, bio-waste, and dirty puddles filled with algae. Along the way, we even encountered creepy mannequins dressed in tattered clothing. Just as we were about to reach the end of this nightmare trail, a small man with an aggressive demeanor suddenly appeared, claiming that we were on private property.

He demanded that we either buy drinks from him or turn back and retrace our steps through the entire treacherous path. When we tried to explain that there were no signs indicating private property and that we were simply following Google Maps, he became increasingly agitated and threatening. He even picked up a stick and seemed ready to attack us.

This man is clearly unstable and poses a serious danger to anyone who encounters him. This is a well-planned scam designed to trap and extort unsuspecting travelers. I strongly urge everyone to avoid this area...

Wir sind in diesen Laden gekommen, um die wirklich schöne Aussicht zu genießen und etwas zu trinken. Doch anstatt gastfreundlich begrüßt zu werden, wurden wir schon beim Betreten in einem aggressiven Ton gefragt, was wir hier wollen. Kaum hatten wir uns kurz umgeschaut, um einen Tisch auszuwählen, wurden wir erneut sehr unfreundlich und fast schon angriffslustig vom Kellner bzw. Besitzer angemacht.

Dieses Verhalten war derart aggressiv, dass es einem sofort den gesamten Appetit und die Lust nimmt, überhaupt dort zu bleiben. Es ist ehrlich gesagt dumm und völlig unverständlich, Gäste so zu behandeln – auf diese Weise zwingt man seine Besucher regelrecht dazu, 0 Sterne zu geben.

Die Aussicht ist wunderschön, aber das Personal zerstört jegliche Atmosphäre. Danach war uns klar, warum der Laden fast leer war. Zum Glück ist Korfu insgesamt für seine warme und herzliche Gastfreundschaft bekannt – umso schockierender war diese absolut negative Ausnahme.

Μπήκαμε σε αυτό το μαγαζί για να απολαύσουμε την πραγματικά όμορφη θέα και να πιούμε κάτι. Αντί όμως να μας υποδεχτούν φιλόξενα, μας ρώτησαν με επιθετικό ύφος από την πρώτη στιγμή τι θέλουμε εδώ. Μόλις κοιτάξαμε για λίγο γύρω μας για να διαλέξουμε τραπέζι, ο σερβιτόρος ή ιδιοκτήτης μας επιτέθηκε ξανά με απίστευτη αγένεια και σχεδόν εχθρική στάση.

Η συμπεριφορά αυτή ήταν τόσο επιθετική που μας έκοψε κάθε διάθεση να μείνουμε. Ειλικρινά είναι ανόητο και ακατανόητο να φέρεται κανείς έτσι στους πελάτες του – με αυτόν τον τρόπο τους αναγκάζει να βάλουν 0 αστέρια.

Η θέα είναι πανέμορφη, αλλά το προσωπικό καταστρέφει κάθε ατμόσφαιρα. Μετά καταλάβαμε γιατί το μαγαζί ήταν σχεδόν άδειο. Ευτυχώς η Κέρκυρα είναι γενικά γνωστή για τη ζεστή και εγκάρδια φιλοξενία της – γι’ αυτό ήταν τόσο σοκαριστική αυτή η εντελώς...
