Lindos Portes Suites - Adults Only — Hotel in Municipality of Rhodes

Don't book this place. Large flying cockroaches throughout the hallways, stairs, and common areas. We returned from dinner to find them everywhere and had to seal our room to keep them out. My girlfriend couldn't sleep until 3am worrying about them getting in.

The hotel is also directly next to a busy bus terminal with loud noise starting at 6:30am - completely undisclosed in the listing. Between the cockroaches and the bus noise, we got maybe 3 hours of sleep.

Called management who promised pest control, but hours later the hallways were still crawling with roaches. We packed up and left immediately.

When we emailed asking for a refund due to the health hazard, their response was basically "thanks for staying, come back anytime." The lack of accountability is almost as bad as the cockroaches.

There are plenty of clean hotels in Lindos. Skip this one unless you enjoy sharing your vacation with uninvited...

BED BUGS! For 10 nights in a row, I was bitten every single night. I barely slept, and every morning I woke up covered in itchy, painful bites. The staff responded with minimal and ineffective actions — they changed the mattress and washed a rug, but that’s nowhere near enough. No full-room treatment was done, and we were not offered to move to another room.

When I asked for compensation, they denied any responsibility, even though the bites clearly match the pattern of bed bug bites (I documented everything with photos).

I left my holiday angry, exhausted, and covered in bites. It completely ruined my vacation.

The location was good, but unfortunately, that didn’t make up for the horrible...

Although not in the heart of Lindos it has everything surrounding it that you would need. Plenty of places nearby to eat out and get take outs. If you do fancy a walk into the lovely Lindos Town it is a ten minute walk away down a steep hill which trying to get up in 30 degrees is extremely tough. In the end I would advice to get a taxi back up for only 5 euros, well worth it!!! I have asthma so found it difficult to walk back up but would be no problem for anyone under 40. I am in late 50's so is a small price to pay!!! At the apartments you have the use of a pool which has sunbeds and is free and does lovely lunches etc. Staff again...
