Just got back from a two/ week stay so we arrived earlier hours of a morning was checked in with signing forms passport numbers etc payed hotel tax which has to be payed by cash and payed for air-conditioning you can either pay by card or euros total cost £260 which is all pretty straight forward......After checking in we was taking to our rooms by golf buggy as most of the rooms are build on a high level climb there are two lifts that take you up to the first level then you have to take another lift that will take you to another level at the top of the complex . We had two rooms both together has we went as a family of 6 which we poped a email to hotel to request if it was possible ... the rooms we had was dated in need of a revamp our bathroom had a drain in the middle of the floor but the cover on the top wasn't attached so if you kicked it as you walked over it the cover would come of which was quite dangerous and could of given a nasty injury so we had to wear flip flops to stop you kicking your toe's on it ! Would of asked to change our rooms has our daughters bathroom had specs of mould in her bathroom but resort was at full capacity so thought we just make the best we can ...the complex has the most beautiful veiws at the top of the complex with a lovely infinity pool but its a adults only pool so no good for family with children under 18 ....they have a children's pool and also a family pool which has a swim up bar this isnt a deep pool and your not aloud any lilo's but a swimming hammock is fine....they have a lovely restaurant which serves some lovely food dishes this is closed between 4 in the afternoon & reopens at 7 at night -breakfast in the morning is served at 8 until 11:30 .... the main bar is open at 7 at night drinks thro the day is at the pool bar with the swim up pool attached ) The staff are all lovely and helpful but the one's who stood out the most was baboora & Mike Restaurant) and Greg in main bar ) and Terrie on reception / | WiFi which i think is 15 euros for a week ) so at the end of your holiday check out is at 12 midday after this the room is charged 7 euros a hour ....or you pay to use the shower in the gym which is 5 euros ... we wasn't allowed just to keep the one studio on we had to book the two studio's was told this wasn't allowed just to have the one studio due to health & safety which did make me chuckle has the hole in our bathroom floor was a big health & saftey hazard ...any way Tui is taking over in november and I believe they will be doing the revamp on the rooms |I dont think we would go back...
Read moreI rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled to after staying here in August. Unfortunately, this hotel was an overall disappointment.||From the moment we arrived, there was a disgusting sewage smell everywhere that never went away, making it really unpleasant just walking around the grounds. The rooms were extremely outdated, with tired furniture and in desperate need of refurbishment.||The pool was filthy – so much so that I had to complain at reception multiple times before anything was done. Speaking of reception, one man working there was horribly rude and unhelpful, making the experience even more frustrating.||On top of that, the hotel seems to operate on constant hidden charges. Air conditioning, which is an absolute necessity in August, came with a huge extra fee. WiFi wasn’t free either. To keep the room on for a few extra hours, we were asked to pay an eye-watering €7 an hour – something I’ve never experienced before. |On top of that, there are frustrating hidden costs. Essential things like air conditioning and even Wi-Fi aren’t included and come at an additional charge. And even after forking 30 EUROS for two weeks on Wifi, it barely worked, and the connection in our room was very hit and miss, the only place it worked completely was Reception: how can you charge such steep prices if it’s not even working?! At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if they charged extra for toilet paper, which, for three days of our stay, they didn’t even provide). The overall state of the property is one of neglect, which just feels like poor value for money. The bar also charges extortionate prices. Also the general toilets facilities are disgusting, consistently dirty, with ants crawling about! The whole hotel is in need of proper maintenance and a refresh to bring it up to standard. ||The rooms are okay, quite outdated, and for “self-catering” they don’t offer any amenities, just a hob, and very limited utilities. Hardly the equipment needed to cater for yourself unless you’re making yourself a butter sandwich! There is also a persistent smell of sewage around the hotel, especially in the pool area, which is especially distasteful and putrid!||The only saving grace of the stay was the lovely bar staff, who were genuinely friendly and welcoming, unlike the reception.||Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. Between the sewage smell, dirty facilities, rude reception staff, and the endless extra charges, it felt like a complete...
Read moreFrom the moment we arrived at Lindos Gardens, everything about our stay was seamless and genuinely uplifting. The staff are the real heartbeat of this hotel — Barbora and Mike at breakfast were consistently efficient, kind, and smiling, even through long shifts. We especially loved the flexible menu, which allowed for a pick-and-mix style approach rather than sticking rigidly to set options — such a refreshing touch! Over at the pool bar, Nicholas was a standout. He took the time to chat, learn our preferences, and even whipped up bespoke cocktails that weren’t on the menu — effortlessly personable and a highlight of our trip. Housekeeping and ground staff always greeted us warmly, and the reception team were informative and welcoming throughout. Our room (1L) offered breathtaking views of the pool, the Acropolis, and a nearby church. While it’s perched at the highest point of the complex — something to note for those with mobility concerns — the view was well worth the climb. We were pleasantly surprised to find the rooms and restaurant newly refurbished — the modern, fresh design was even better than what we saw online. The air conditioning, though an added cost, was absolutely worth it. It worked brilliantly throughout our stay and made a huge difference in the summer heat — one of those optional extras that truly earns its value. The walk into Lindos village takes 10–15 minutes and includes a steep hill, but honestly, that’s part of the charm. Lindos is built into the hills around the Acropolis, so it’s what you’d expect and helps contribute to the area’s unique character. There are also buggies available if you prefer to avoid the hike back up or a taxi for 5 euros. Entertainment-wise, there’s plenty to keep you engaged if you choose to stay in — from Greek nights and karaoke to live music. The only hiccup, which is more about guests than the hotel itself, is sunbed reservation. Despite signage warning that towels will be removed if loungers are left unused, this wasn’t enforced during our stay. That said, we found plenty of beds when heading down early, and the pool remained a lovely, relaxing space throughout.
In short, Lindos Gardens was faultless. Every detail, from the ambiance to the hospitality, exceeded expectations. I’ll absolutely be returning — and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming, relaxing stay with stunning views and an...
