Die Altstadt von Rhodos hat viele kleine tolle Gässchen mit vielen Restaurants und Läden, welche Souvenirs, Schmuck, Taschen, Schuhe, Kleidung und Traditionelles anbieten. Vor den Restaurants gibt es leider viele „Touristenfänger/ Anquatscher“. Ein „nein danke“ reicht aber meistens. Bei den Läden wird man zum Glück nicht direkt angesprochen. Mit dem Auto anzureisen bedarf übrigens einiges an Glück und Können um einen Parkplatz zu finden. Wir waren einmal am Tag dort und einmal am Abend. Beide Tageszeiten waren toll. Abends ist alles bunt beleuchtet. Es gibt so oder so viele tolle Motive. Auf jeden Fall sehenswert! Nebenbei: Wenn Kreuzfahrtschiffe im Hafen liegen, ist es dort tagsüber insgesamt wuseliger.
