Went there because of the good reviews and the overall look of the restaurant, which gave high-end vibes. The service, the food, the view, and the overall atmosphere couldn’t be further from a high-end place.

The food was tragic. My girlfriend had a caprese, literally slices of tomato and mozzarella with two drops of pesto. The tomato was disgusting and easily the cheapest kind you can find at a market. It tasted like nothing and was very rough. I had dolmades, which were so basic they didn’t justify the price of €11 at all. The waiter suggested pita bread, which was mediocre at best, and they charged €6 for five slices. Everywhere else in the area it costs €1–2 and is much better. My girlfriend drank apple juice which we both have the feeling was mixed with water. I ordered draft beer which was probably the only thing that was okay.

The last dish we ordered was shrimp saganaki. The shrimp weren’t peeled and were dropped directly into the tomato and feta sauce, shell and all. In order to eat and clean them, you had to get your hands completely covered in sauce. The sauce itself had shrimp shells and whiskers floating in it. The food was hands down some of the worst, if not the worst, I have ever eaten in Greece, and I have been to a lot of places. On top of that, the restaurant is much more expensive compared to others in the area.

The view is very overrated. There are literally three tables that face the square and probably have a decent view. The tables on the other side of the terrace where we sat faced an abandoned building, and the ones in the center had no view at all.

The service was mediocre at best. The staff were polite, but they looked like they would much rather be anywhere else. This is the only restaurant where I ate on the island and the bill is in Greek and not in English.

Very very dissapointing experience. It’s beyond me how this place has such a good rating. There are far better restaurants in the area, so don’t bother sitting here.

P.S.: No, it’s not a fake review as the owner suggests. Don’t listen to him. The restaurant is absolutely disgusting and feels like a complete scam. Even two weeks after leaving Rhodes, I...

We chose to eat here based on the large number of positive reviews and the fact that it had a rooftop terrace with sea views. You can just about see the sea over/between the rooftops but it's pushing it to call it a view! The rooftop terrace is nice though with flowers and lights and a sun shade that was retracted after sunset when we were there. We arrived just before it got really busy around 8 - all the tables were occupied (they're fairly crammed in). Service was reasonable, not the fastest but they were busy. Choice of food is fairly extensive with pizza, pasta, grilled meat and seafood dishes as well as appetizers etc. We opted for the pitta, breads and selection of dips and some garlic bread for a starter between 4 of us (2 adults, 2 children). The former consisted of half a pitta bread cut up and some small pieces of toasted ciabatta with 2 olive dips - quite disappointing. There were 2 slices of garlic bread - ciabatta topped with cheese and garlic - nothing special. For mains we had the chicken ala chef (really tasty), spaghetti bolognese (nice but nothing special), margherita pizza (ok, but extremely cheesy) and chicken nuggets from the children's menu (average). With drinks (1 beer, 3 soft drinks, 1 cocktail and 2 bottles of water) the bill came to just over €97. Pretty much par for the course in these parts, but seemed somewhat overpriced (and reviews somewhat over enthusiastic) for what it is - you're paying for the location more than the quality of the food. Would we eat there again? Possibly,...

Very bad quality of food! we went there on 18.08.2021 The owner nice guy! the rooftop upstairs nice but with very a little view of the sea it is rather view of old building around than the sea! The bad thing is there are huge waspe never seen that huge size almost like small bitds flying everywhere around us. One lady she couldn't stay she went inside with her family I wanted to do the same as I was scared I have allergy but I hardly resisted. The food was very very bad quality with no taste and big quantity to stuff the people for me even one star is too much for them I would give no star for the food! my husband took chicken it was extremly dry with no taste, my plate shrimps also no taste :-( 👎👎👎👎 not to forget one hour waiting just to bring us bread! One couple next to us from France they brought the food for the girlfriend she finished it and after the guy complained, he had to wait again long time ! they brought the food for the guy finally but at least the owner told them they won't pay the food for the guy, but still their mood was spoiled! the owner stays outside chasing up people to come upstairs, then they will have to wait very long time! 2 ladies left without ordering because they were waiting sooo long! I wouldn't recommend it! the problem too many crapy touristy restaurants in the old town, difficult to avoid having...

I had a truly lovely experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. I especially appreciated that they kindly agreed to prepare a half-portion of the seafood platter just for one person, which was perfect for me. When I arrived, during a brief chat with the hostess, I mentioned it was my birthday. To my surprise and delight, the restaurant remembered and later brought out a birthday dessert — a delicious cake — and even offered a complimentary liqueur afterwards. It was such a warm and thoughtful touch. The staff were incredibly welcoming — both the waiter and the hostess were exceptionally kind and attentive. Their hospitality really stood out and made the evening feel special. The only small downside was the seating. The chairs were covered in a stiff fabric and weren’t very comfortable to sit on for a long meal. I would kindly suggest reconsidering the seating to enhance the overall dining experience. Other than that, everything was excellent. The atmosphere, service, and especially the food were truly wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant and would gladly come back!

Amazing place to eat and enjoy the view. Very worth a visit. Booked in advance to guarantee a decent table and was in a large group. There are alot of restaurants in the area that are competing to grab the tourists to dine. Some of the front of house can be very annoying. When I walked past at the beginning of the holiday the front of house just politely said good evening. There was no, come in and eat here type of sales tactic, which is why I went back and booked after looking at some of the reviews. When we arrived, we were greeted and showed to our seats on the roof top terrace. The terrace view is across the old town and beautiful on a clear night watching the sunset. The menu was is in several different languages and all the same prices as the locals. NOT a tourist trap. Some of the items on the menu has pictures which look exactly what is served. The food is not to disappoint, we had the sea food platter which came with jacket potatos. The mix grill is also massive and easily could be shared. Others in the group had Greek dishes which were amazing. We ordered a few litres of house wine to share and the Greek coffee was very nice.

Very delicious and nice food. BUT: But it’s very pricey we couldn’t really understand what was priced on the check cause everything was labeled as “food” or “drinks”. The waiter convinced us to buy pita bread as appetizer and it cost us 12€ in the end which is rediculous. I ordered the stuffed mushrooms for 12€ and there were only two mushrooms on the plate, such a small amount even tho they were delicious. Same goes for the cheese balls (10€) and there were only 6. I get that it’s an appetizer but since the main courses lack vegetarian options I kinda had to pick that. And expected a bit more on the plate for such a high price. My boyfriend ordered the lamb steak medium and said it was delicious, 22€ for such a big steak was a fair price but there was no sauce served with it. Overall: the atmosphere is amazing with a view directly down to a little plaza and the interior is giving castle vibes. But the prices and the check at the end kinda ruined it a bit for us (sadly) staff was very kind as well.
