Would recommend on the whole, but needs some improvements.
Pros: Very clean with nice decor. The beach and bars/restaurants are a short walk away, plus quite a few supermarkets. Really quiet location with good soundproofing in the rooms. Dogs are allowed but I only heard the odd bark here and there. The staff are so lovely and even called me beforehand to double check what time I would arrive so that they could make sure I got the key (my flight was delayed). The kitchenette is very useful. The bed is huge and quite comfortable, and the pillows were great too. The sunbeds are VERY comfortable. The WiFi is speedy and reliable. If you have a ground floor room you can walk out the doors and pretty much straight into the pool.
Cons: It's clear that a man designed the room layout. There's no mirror close to the windows - only one inside the wardrobe so you can barely see yourself to do makeup and hair. I had to use the bathroom in the end. The hotel could add tabletop mirrors to the desks to fix this. There are only 8 sunbeds so you have to be quick in the morning. The parasols also don't offer much protection but I can't really blame the hotel for the position of the sun. If you have one of the terrace rooms you'll end up with people sunbathing right in front of your terrace, especially when they move the sunbeds closer to try to get in the shade. This makes it a bit awkward to sit on the terrace. If you can afford it, choose a pool access room for more privacy. The pool itself is quite cold, albeit refreshing at first. There was a weird sewer smell coming from the bathroom the whole time, which was a shame. It is 100% self-catered so you have to go to a supermarket for water and food. There are no "Do not disturb" signs for the doors to signal whether you want the room cleaned. You have to physically alert reception if you don't want/need a clean and there is not always...

Serenity Suites is set back from ‘the strip’ and is only a couple of minutes walk to the beach. There’s currently some building work going on but that didn’t disturb us at all. ||The complex consists of 20 apartments set around the pool all of which are kept spotlessly clean on a daily basis…..they even moped the tiled area around the pool every morning. ||We were staying in a ground floor suite (room 101) which was perfect. The room was modern and consisted of a small kitchenette, bathroom and bedroom including a fold out day bed. The room was cleaned daily and always looked spotless. I know mattresses and pillows are a personal thing but we found these very comfortable too. ||The staff were all lovely and very polite. ||I could go on but if you’re thinking of going you really won’t be disappointed….we will certainly be going back again. ||FYI….if you do go Google Ergon Beach House and visit them. A really lovely beach cafe / restaurant…the best breakfast roll I...
