Hotel Ilisia — Hotel in Municipality of Thessaloniki

The only complaint I have is one member of staff who told me I am not allowed to take breakfast to my room for my partner who was not feeling well. When has it never been allowed to take food to your room !!!! I have been to so many countries and sometimes you even get room service breakfast in hotels, sometimes they look at you and think maybe you are naive or it’s your first time travelling . She was even looking at me and the plate funny like I am stealing the food I paid for and saying something funny in their language which I could only pick bits of , for this reason we decided it’s best we stay elsewhere for our next trip . Everything else was going to be a plus for the stay until I experienced this on our last day !!!!!!! Other than that the reception and all the other staff are so friendly so nice and we have been here for 10 days , and they accommodated most of our needs including upgrading to a double room for low cost , even came to check our room if we needed cleaning . The room is good enough for the budget and location is convenient to get to other places . We would have definitely come back if not for our experience on the last day because we will be back...

Horible hotel, in top 3 worst hotel i ever stayed! The room was overpriced. Fist they gave us a room but sadly there was some really noisy ventilation from the next building that was impossible to accept to sleep in that room, requesting to the reception to change the room their fist reaction was of perplexity they act like it is something that they are not aware, very cheecky attitude. Then they give us the key of another so called room that was on the roof top maybe an ex tool shed or something like this, a very small horible and deteriorated room, a single room, instead of a double room! The bed so low like sleeping directly to the floor... one person with bad knees could have a hard time using the bed. They did not felt the need to reimburse the difference of cost, we paid 120 euro to sleep in the attic, with a bathroom so small and crumpy that one must be very careful when using the WC because you can hurt yourself in the shower curb. The breakfast very basic and poor, fake orange juice in the country of orange trees... the cofee undrinkable. The last but not least the horrible painting hanging on the wall.
