At first I couldn't find the hotel. Turned out the check-in was at the Plaza Hotel. The Ladadika Design was part of it, but in a different location close by. The check-in went fast, and the guy at the reception was friendly. He helped me carry my luggage from the reception and upstairs at the Ladadika Design cause the rooms are upstairs. There were many stairs before you could reach the rooms. There was no lift when I stayed there in June 2025. Instead, there was a special chair to transport people with disability upstairs ( I didn't know if the device was in use, though). The room was spacey with a round bed and pillows that were quite comfortable. There was fridge, water boiler and big sofas that basically could be used for sleeping too. I appreciated their putting two cold bottles of water in the fridge when I checked in. It was so warm in June, one would surely need some water after the long trip from the airport by the airport bus. The room looked nice and comfortable. There's no desk if you need to work. But there was a small table and armchair next to the bed that you could use. Amenities were provided. I initially thought it wasn't. You should check inside the little shelf in the bathroom. The aircon and water boiler functioned well. Under Ladadika Design was cafes and bars. Sometimes, it could be loud when people got loud till late night. But it was due to its great location. Ladadika area was strategically located near the Thessaloniki promenade and full of cafes, bars, and restaurants. In terms of price and quality, it was good. I definitely will stay there...
Read moreWe stayed in room 801.The staff was super friendly and helpful – really a big plus! Also convenient: you can reserve a parking spot for €12 a day and get a card for the parking lot. The included breakfast was okay. The location of the hotel is excellent. Might be a bit loud at night, since Ladadika is a very lively area. I found the room windows to do a great job at blocking the noise. Unfortunately, the room was disappointing. It was quite dark and didn’t look like in their pictures. Their photos give the impression of a modern, well-designed room – in reality, the photographer was just very skilled: the furniture is scratched and looks old, the shower head holder is coming off the wall, the towel rack is loose or broken and falls apart, and the toilet brush leaks water onto the floor when you put it back into its container. Also, they seem to have a problem with humidity in the bathroom, since there was mold. It did not seem clean. On top of that, the bed is so big (or rather the room is so small) that you kind of have to squeeze along the wall to get to the toilet. Overall, the room is definitely oversold...
