Golden Grey Goose — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

OMG stunning stunning and stunning! The perfect honeymoon destination! Amazing location with an unforgettable view over the caldera.

The location is close to the centre of Fira with a lot of stairs but it was so worth it! On arrival, there was a porter helped us carry our luggage down to the hotel. We met Falita who was so lovely and very helpful. She made sure we had everything we needed. There was another guy called George who helped us to book the sunset cruise and the complimentary breakfast through Whatsapp. The cleaner was so kind and lovely, she cleaned our room daily, and we had fresh towels, linen and spa towels. It was great, everything was so easy and well organised.

We stayed in Grey apartment for four nights. The apartment was huge with a well-equipped kitchen, a dining table and chairs. The bathroom was big with a rainfall shower. The balcony had two sun beds, a table and two chairs, an outdoor spa and a heater. And the view was OUTSTANDING... We watched the best sunset views from our jacuzzi every night without the crowds and it was perfect.

Slight Improvement:

1. The complimentary breakfast was really nice, had a lot of choices but it was served in takeaway boxes and it was warm but not hot when we received it probably because it was quite cold when we were there in September. It would be better if they were served warm and in proper dinnerware but I know it might be difficult without a kitchen on-site.
2. The bed was joined by two single beds, it would be perfect if it was a king-size or even a queen-size bed because everything else was so perfect and first class.
3. No AC in the room.

Everything about our stay was exquisite.

Everyone at GGG was incredibly helpful with coordinating our arrival details, luggage, check in and all the needed amenities. Once they get you set up, you are living your best life in your own private paradise. Nobody is hovering around and bothering you. You can enjoy your view and apartment in complete privacy.

It's hard to explain how incredibly cool this place is. It's your own private apartment right on the edge of a cliff, overlooking the best part of the volcano. You are literally right in the capitol city of Fira, close to all these amazing restaurants, bars and shopping, but in your own luxury suite with a private jacuzzi, private terrace, a huge apartment with a kitchen, sun room, bathroom and living room, and really living a fantasy.

The interior of this apartment is traditional luxury. Top notch. I mean, soooo beautifully cool. Super high ceilings, detailed woodwork on the interior, stone flooring and all the perfect amenities.

My boyfriend and I soaked up every minute of our stay. Sunrise to sunset is a dream here. You don't even need to run around the island to find places to hang out. Come to Santorini, get your delicious local wine, and just chill out here.

I recently stayed 3 nights at the Golden Grey Goose Hotel in Santorini (Thira). I can't say enough about my experience at this beautiful hotel. First, I was greeted at the airport by a very nice driver that was very welcoming and helped load our bags into the car, which brought us to the hotel.

The views are absolutely breathtaking! Our room had a beautiful balcony with a stunning view of the Caldera and was perfect for viewing the classic Santorini sunset. We were greeted by Anastasia, who was very nice and was available for all of our questions and even did a great job proactively communicating with us, when our departing ferry had gone on strike.

The Room

The rooms have a classic interior. We appreciated the amount of space we had, which made us really comfortable. We had a bedroom, a living room, and even a kitchen with a stove, and full size refrigerator. There was a jacuzzi on the balcony which was perfect for night time and relaxing, while viewing the town at night under the lights.
