FANTASTIC SUITES, we had an amazing time here, the staff were lovely, very polite, friendly and extremely helpful, especially Mary. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful each morning. After much research and looking we decided on Perla Nera Suites, as we wanted something private, and we could either pull right up to in taxi, transfer or hire car and walk straight in. Its just the right distance from Fira centre to feel your away from it, but easy walk to get to. As for our suite it was Excellent we stayed in the Grand Suite. It was perfect for our 20th wedding anniversary break, the suite and outside area are massive, lovely private pool outside, and plenty of sunbathing space, can get sun till around 5pm. Pool is abit nippy, but once your in it's the best. The suite itself was so spacious, separate bathroom with a open cave shower, then in your bedroom you also had a second bathroom with a hottub. It was perfect for us for seven nights, as it was very easy to spend a day at suite if you were done sightseeing or feeling lazy. As stated in other reviews there is abit of road noise outside, but we knew that before booking the trade off for privacy and quality of accommodation was worth it, we just brought some music and didnt really notice to be honest. A service I didnt know till I was leaving but might be helpful for others to know, checkout is at 12, but if you have long wait till flight along with bag storage, you can get a private shower and fresh towels before flight when collecting your luggage. We would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation, and will 100% be choosing here when we return to...

Read moreWe booked a suite at the Perla Nera for 2 nights in April 2024, travelling as a family (2 adults, 1 ten-year-old). ||Our suite had a hot tub outside and a little private area with table and chairs and sun loungers. Inside the suite was a small kitchenette, dining table and chairs, sofa (doubling as a bed overnight), a large bed for the adults, and a large shower room. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the shower was good quality. There was an array of good quality free toiletries. ||The reception team were very friendly, including their little dog who was sunbathing outside their office for the majority of our stay!||Breakfast is ordered each day for the following day, and delivered to your suite at a time of your choosing. The breakfasts were delicious, and very generous. ||The suites are located on a relatively fast road - although you cannot see the road from the suites, sometimes you can hear road noise. This did not bother us too much, however, but we did not spend too much time just sitting outside the suite as we were out and about most of the days. ||It was about a 15 minute walk (uphill) through the winding white streets to reach the capital (Fira) with plenty of shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the walk and it was worth it to see the sunrise in the evening, and then have a pleasant walk back to the accommodation afterwards. This might however not suit anyone with mobility issues or without...
