I spent 8 days in Fira and every one of those days I spent my mornings there talking with Stelioâs (owner) Giannis, and the next door shop owner ,Spiros.
Letâs talk about the food:
-Made to order -Fresh and real ingredients -Traditional -You will go home and talk about it
I made sure that I had something different everyday, from when I was a kid I use to remember , to new and âtraditional â plates. Definitely, you HAVE to try the âDakosâ, and menu item #1 (canât remember the nameâ. The pastitsio, and the yogurt with figs and walnuts!
Service: -Friendly -Humble -They donât throw plates on the table or rush to take the plates the second the last bite is in your mouth
Atmospheric/Experience:
All the above means nothing if you donât have good experience. These guys ended up being a âmorning crewâ. Easy going, great conversations, and they room the time to be company because they WANTED to. With a hello and good morning everyday! ( make sure you say good morning to Giannis and remember to shake his hand or donât go at all ;) ) kidding aside, you couldnât ask for a better experience with these fine folks. Stelios, blew my mind because I have never seen an owner, who not only chips in to the staff, but be a regular human being to spend time with his clientele like he does..as does Giannis.
If you donât give these guys 5 stars, you have no heart. Definitely go there, and I know, this is all I talk about.
His sausage with orange bits warps me back to the days we use to have that on Sunday...

Considering the Greek snack souvlaki pita is much favoured, I guess people would tend to wait till midday to have these unhealthy snacks instead of healthier breakfast options.
This restaurant is however one breakfast place I still enjoyed. I ordered the avocado scramble while my partner had his truffle scamble. Both meals hit the spots in terms of meeting our appetites. However, as much as I wanted to give five stars, it wasn't a wow-factor. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate their creativity in their menu, their customer service and their barista who makes their fresh coffees, but it would've been better if the bread was not a slice of loaf but sourdough? I would've been happy to pay a little more for a fresher bread ;)
With that said there is a reason why this place is considered number 1 breakfast place on Tripadvisor. Pst... there's not that many great breakfast on Santorini... Hopefully, if I come back in the future, I'll see more of these places.đ±
Yes sure, I'm a snobby...
Read moreI never do reviews, but Iâm doing this so hopefully they will use this to improve. I stopped by this place this morning because it was one of the only one opened and I was hungry. Not a good idea. I ordered the avocado and ham sandwich, bad bad choice. First of all it was not avocado it was a guacamole spread that was brown in color, I could not taste the âavocadoâ on a sandwich that was advertised as âham and avocadoâ. Second the lettuce was wilted and brown, how can a cook miss that? We were the only customers at that time, so no excuses that the cook was too busy or that heâs not a robot and makes mistakes. I would not had mind paying what I paid, if the food was worth it. They need to take a little pride on the food they sell. I would have been better of, buying a premade sandwich from one of the...
