Petinis Place Guest House — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

Petini's is in an ideal location if you are looking to be central and within walking distance of everything in Fira. It is on a beautiful street and above what we thought was one of the best shops in the area. Our room was spacious, clean, and stocked with coffee, water, and croissants everyday. The owners were so friendly and helpful. They even sent us with a gift when we left. Whenever we asked for a direction to a place, they typically walked us there or called our destination/taxi for us. We had a spacious balcony. This room does not have a view of the caldera; however, if you are looking for these views, you will be need to be in a completely different price point. Additionally, while we could hear music at night when the windows were open, this did not keep us up at night as we slept with the windows closed. We booked this place as it is in the heart of Fira. The rooms are located directly in the city centre next to all the cliff top restaurants, plenty of bars and local shops. There is also a supermarket within 2'' walking distance. The hosts own the shop adjacent to the apartments and as we arrived very early in the morning no-one was there yet, however when we met the hosts, they were most welcoming.||||The room was very clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. We were impressed by the daily maid service and replacement of water bottles and juice every day. There is also a coffee station including a kettle. Additionally we were given also towers for the beach. Although, we read reviews that the rooms are noisy, we did not had any problems with our sleep, maybe because we are heavy sleepers who knows!||||I highly recommend Petinis Place. First off let me say if you are even considering staying here in Thira stop thinking and book it. This was the perfect place for my best friend and I as we island hopped through Greece. We stayed 4 nights at petini’s place and every night was better than the one before. The location is amazing if you are not willing to spend extra money to be right on the caldera but only a 2 minute walk away from the hustle and bustle of Thira. The staff were amazing and so accommodating when we needed directions or tips on what to see. Every day our fridge was stocked with bottles of water and juice and there was an iron, a hot water kettle and a safe provided. Our room opened up to look over the main road and was just perfect.
