Eye Q Resort — Hotel in Skiathos Municipality

We have stayed at this Beautiful resort for the last week of September 2018 and have been simply amazed by the standard and quality of the accommodation. ||||The view from our Maisonette was breathtaking only 10 mins walk down to the beach and bay of Megali Ammos.||The cleanliness was faultless - thanks Angela, who kept our maisonette spotlessly clean and provided us with fresh towels and toiletries when required (no skimping)||The quality of the furnishings comparable to an international Five star hotel.||The kitchen being well equiped with a full size cooker, fridge freezer, plentiful cooking utensils and crockery / glass's etc. Open plan dining area, Patio doors leading onto balcony and side window offering panoramic views beyond. ||Our lounge area was perfectly equipped two Sofa beds, coffee table, console, 32" LCD TV with multiple satellite channels, and a rustic plant arrangement.||There were ample mirrors and lighting options about the apartment making Make-up and mood lighting options possible.||The balcony equipped with table and chairs and sun loungers made it ideal for a lazy days enjoying the sun and view of Megali Ammos bay or the mountains unbeatable.||The two bathroom were of good size, -one entrance / living leval and the other on the first floor above the spiral staircase suited our needs perfectly. A dividable corridor / door between the living area meant this could be en-suite to the ground floor bedroom or separated off when the living area was in use, making the space practical for both areas. ||Beds were firm but comfortable and off good quality and linen changed twice weekly. The hot water supply was endless and the showers powerful.||The double bedroom was on the entrance / living level and the Twin bedded room on the first level.||Their were ample Electric sockets throughout the maisonette.||The shared Bar-B-Que area was perfectly planned and set out with relevant utensils and equipment for the best chef with oven, hob, fridge large BBQ / fire pit, and a delightful rustic table and chairs for 10x hungry guests. their was a music system / speakers available and a libery of books and novels to read and return. A supply of cooking essentials from olive oil to herbs, spice, local Pomegranates, lemons & limes were also either provided free to guests by the owner or / and donated from departing guests... Great idea and a nice community feel / spirit.||The adjacent Spa area and Gym was a gem, providing cardiovasular equipment and weights, all well maintained and clean.||The multi function sauna and steam cabin was perfect either before the start of a day in the sun or at the end. The hot tub / hydrotherapy spa enclosed in its own Gazebo was clean and relaxing offering many seating options to bubble away an hour or so.. and the mood lighting and waterfall / shoulder massage made it an almost daily pilgrimage after a good workout.||||The only thing missing is a Pool / Cafe / Bar but this is available to use free of charge at Nikkos apartments only two mins walk away. However be warned that the service here Provided by Kostas the son of the proprietor leaves a lot to be desired (see my separate re-view)||||To conclude... A outstanding Resort (and this scores 10/10) is only as good as it's manager, team and there vision for excellence across all facilities provided. Stavros is the most helpful, Genuine general manager you could wish to meet. Nothing being to much trouble he went out of his way to Exceed our expectation every time and his Hospitality & management skills are clearly demonstrated by everything he does.||||One of my party is mobility impaired and frequently uses a wheelchair, although this caused a few challenges as the gradients are very steep, and stairs unavoidable Stavros and Angela (our maid) couldn't have been more helpful and went well beyond the call of duty. ||||Thank-you for a wonderful Holiday experience, we...

My husband and I spent an incredible week at Eye Q Resort in the beginning of September 2019. The first thing that captured our eyes was the phenomenal view from our balcony! We couldn’t believe our luck to have a panoramic view of the sea and the island. The apartment was spacious and well equipped with anything we could ever need from the panini ingredients stocked for us in the fridge to the beautiful bathroom complete with all the products we could use in there. The kitchen was so well outfitted that we were able to cook many meals instead of having to go out to eat every day. The bedroom had its own balcony, which was a nice surprise. While there I had to work a bit, but working from that gorgeous balcony while watching the sun rise was certainly no hardship. A word about our hosts; Stavros and Vasso made our vacation very special. Never before have we had such solicitous hosts, and their obvious joy for life was infectious. They made us feel very welcome, even picking us up from ferry, and they were quick to point out all of the places we should see and which beaches were not to miss. One beach was so close we walked there and spent many days relaxing in the warm water and on the sandy shore. We were also able to walk to small grocery stores which was very convenient. The resort itself has so many features we almost hated to leave. There was a spa, a gym, a sauna, a barbecue, ping pong (my personal favorite) and a large open area where my husband flew his drone. A tennis court is in the works, and if you don’t have a partner to play with, do not worry because Stavros is crazy for tennis and will play it with you! All I can say is we can’t wait to go back! My first visit to Skiathos with a friend who has been many times. We stayed at the Eye Q resort which was perfectly situated for a two week stay. The owner, Stavros, picked us up at the airport and also provided return transportation. ||There's a hill and stairs to climb to access the room, but it's Greece so there are many hills. ||The 2 floor apartment was well equipped with a kitchen, table, chairs, pots, pans, utensils, full size fridge; we brought our own accessories such as dish soap, salt & pepper and dish cloths. Main level is open concept kitchen with table, chairs and couch (sleeping), private master bedroom & bath Upstairs, two twin beds with bathroom. Water pressure was fantastic!!!||Lovely balcony with views of Megali Ammos beach.||Quiet area.||Access to the Nicolas Pool bar down the hill, where you can swim (no cost), eat & drink at cost.||Convenience stores nearby and quick walk into Skiathos town, or to Megali...
