So, i booked this place under a bit of pressure considering the short time i had before the NYE and the minimum options available during this time of the year. While browsing the reviews i was surprised to see many positive ones along with negative reviews stating some of the rooms have no window and it may get cold/hot because there is no option for thermostat in the rooms. I found a place located on a quiet street really close to the city center, with a multitude of dinning options and also supermarkets as close as 50 meters away. The building is impressive and i was lucky to be acomodated in one of the apartments on the first floor. I guess i did not realized but i have booked a design apartment and not a room so i understand now probably the room option can bring some headaches. The apartment looked great and i was impressed by the multitude of quality details. Fully equipped kitchen including your own coffee expressor, toaster, kettle, oven, freezer, pots, cutlery including a corkscrew(well inspired). Even though i don't know who ever uses them, i find it impressive. Huge living room with dining table, TV, couch and a cabinet full of glasses. Huge, comfortable bed, with lots of pillows(pleasing my gf who enjoys pillow fights) and a big balcony with a view on the main street in front. I'm gona rate it 9/10 only because of their breakfast option which as others have stated, it's poor and extremly sugary(cheep croissant from supermarket, also extremly sweet straw juice and fruity yogurt). I would recomand the management to work on this aspect as it ruins the superlative experience. Almost forgot the bottle of wine we received when arriving and the Russian brand champagne we discovered on the NYE day reminding us we are in a country that...

Read moreThis place has 11 hotel rooms and three apartments. It is very new and therefore clean, is inexpensive, it is easy walking distance from the main train station, the staff are very nice and helpful, the bathroom is large, and we had a bottle of Hungarian white wine waiting for us in our room. Those are the good things. The construction quality is seriously lacking throughout, with the stairs from the 1st to 2nd floor (2nd to 3rd US) having the top and bottom stair being 1/2 the height of the rest of the stairs. This is a serious US bldg code violation, because it is a serious tripping hazard. No elevator, one of the two skylights in our room had a leak down the ceiling, and the shower head holder and soap dish were missing screws, so they flopped about. All that said, I had a wonderful sleep, because we were far from the street, and the unit was whisper quiet. Oh, and if you get a room, don't look for big street signage, as there is just a small sign on one door on the street. You will need to be buzzed in, walk through a courtyard, and enter the Hotel, in what was probably the carriage house for the original main building. No frills here, but fine for an inexpensive place to sleep...
