An Incredible Pizza Experience at Pizzeria Delarosso in BudapestI recently had the pleasure of dining at Pizzeria Delarosso in Budapest, and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience. This cozy little pizzeria exceeded all my expectations, especially when it came to their mouthwatering pizzas.

Let's start with the star of the show – the pizza. The quality and taste of the pizzas at Delarosso were simply outstanding. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. I tried their Rucola pizza, and it was hands down one of the best I've ever had. The combination of the tangy tomato sauce, creamy mozzarella, fragrant basil and fresh Rucola was a match made in pizza heaven. Each bite was a delight, and I couldn't help but savor every single slice.

Not only was the pizza exceptional, but the service at Pizzeria Delarosso was also top-notch. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about their menu. The waiters made sure that I had everything I needed throughout my meal, creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience.

However, it's worth mentioning that the restaurant itself is quite small, and during the summer months, it can get quite hot inside due to the pizza oven. But fear not, as Delarosso has outdoor seating available. Although the outdoor seating area is located on a busy street, it provides a pleasant alternative to escape the heat and enjoy your meal in a more open and airy environment.

Overall, I would highly recommend Pizzeria Delarosso in Budapest. The incredibly delicious pizza, combined with the attentive service, makes it a must-visit for any pizza lover. Just be mindful of the limited indoor space and consider opting for the outdoor seating if you prefer a cooler dining experience. I will definitely be returning to Delarosso on my next trip...

I really would have loved to give 5 stars because the food was amazing but sadly it takes more than that for a restaurant to be enjoyable. We were two people, went in and ordered and were greeted with a grunt. We both ordered a Focaccia with 3 toppings each, however the waiter understood 1 Focaccia, 2 other different pizzas and another Focaccia with the 3 toppings my brother wanted (even though I pointed at the right places on the menu when ordering, and also why would two people eat 4 pizzas?). We noticed it because of the price and thought we cleared up the misunderstanding by explaining our order again. The waiter got pissed at us but still took our order. Price seemed fine at first but when we headed to our table we noticed that it was too low for what we thought we had ordered. Apparently now, he thought we wanted 1 Focaccia with all the 6 toppings. When we told him he got really angry and rude even though it wasn’t our fault (we both speak English really well). Then he got it wrong AGAIN and thought we wanted 2 with 6 toppings each. Despite the fact that we noticed the mistake before the food came, we had to pay for and eat the first focaccia with all 6 toppings. We had to share and I went home hungry. Very...

I went with 3 friends on a Saturday night at 9.15 pm We found a table upstairs and sat down. The waitress cleaned the table and told us to order at the register. We ordered 3 pizzas, 2 beers and 1 can of coke. They told us that there was a 30 minute delay, which we accepted and sat down. 2 things hit us right away, the heat and the great music. We asked the waitress to turn on the AC and she brought us a small one for the table. We found a table downstairs after a while and moved there. The pizzas took 1 hour to get to the table, but when they did, they were good. We ordered another coke and 2 more beers to actually have with the food because it took so long. The bathroom was well renovated and very clean. The service was very good, the food was good, the music was amazing (if you like retro music from different decades and genres) and we paid HUF $15200 (about EUR $40). Note: the staff is composed of some very good looking boys and girls in their 20s and 30s (it won't change your experience, but hey, it doesn't hurt XD). We'll go back some other time to try something else and see if the food gets to our table faster....
