Titiz Turkish Restaurant — Restaurant in Budapest

Horrendous breakfast experience. Saw the restaurant was opened at 8am so thought we'd go to have breakfast. Walking past looked like the restaurant was closed but then we got called in so thought ok fine. He sat us down and then went missing for about 10 minutes. Finally he comes back and asks if we would like some tea, one member of the party said yes and rest said no. He delivered the tea and then left again for another 10 minutes. We are confused at this point and about the leave as we haven't ordered anything and sat in this restaurant for 20 minutes. As we are about to leave he bring outs some bread and 4 plates of food we didn't order which contain 2 eggs, 1 tomato 1/5 cucumber and some dips. I'm vegan so can't even eat the eggs. We are confused and then expected to pay 4000HUF for this? Was ridiculous and would definitely not recommend going here. Quite possibly the worst experience I've ever had at...

the lamb chops were fairly good, but ridiculously overpriced. they have way cheaper prices on the website though, the only reason why I went there, the true price came at a bad surprise. for this price range, I would expect everything to be on point, at least. the side dishes were not prepared freshly ,instead the room temperature rice and the soggy, cold fries were just shoveled out of a container and placed into my takeout box,ten mimutes before the lamb Chips were done,turning even colder therefore. I would expect that from a cheap school cafeteria or work canteen.but not from a place with this price range. service was polite and professional I guess, but felt pretty cold,Overall Not...

I have decided not to use this restaurant anymore. The owner and one of the staff are so friendly and nice, and with who I enjoy a bit of banter but there is another guy serving who is always so miserable, and whenever he prepares my doner durum, he thinks I'm on a diet! The portion is so small it's just not worth it, once he didn't put any meat into it, maybe it was deliberate or he just forgot, I don't know. Anyway, the dark haired guy with glasses is so jolly, and he doesn't skimp on the portion, but avoid it if the other miserable guy is serving. Pity, because I used to enjoy seeing those other two...
