Grand Suites Central — Hotel in Budapest

What a bizarre check in process. When booking I said we are arriving early between 12.00 and 1.00pm and asked if we could leave our luggage until the 3.00 pm check in. In the confirmation email they said entry is via a key lock and the code will be provided when the check in starts at 3.00 pm! They then sent a multipage message saying check in is done via an app through which you are requested to upload identity documents - "this is MANDATORY" as stated in their message.||The idea of having to upload a copy of your passport through some random app you are asked to install needs to be made clear BEFORE making a booking so those who feel uncomfortable about it can look for somewhere else to stay! |... and no response to leaving our luggage which meant dragging our luggage around until we did get a message an hour before check in time saying we could drop off our luggage into our room... but would then have to leave the room and return after 3.00 pm. The room had been made up so we found this to be an odd request. ||The apartment was clean but very small and the is located in what appears to be a poorer part of town. ||A person who lives on the ground floor has 2 dogs which he allows to roam in the central courtyard and they bark and bark at anything that move which was...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful establishment and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The location is perfect, providing easy access to local attractions.

The room was lovely, spacious, and beautifully decorated, making for a very comfortable stay. The amenities were top-notch, including everything I needed for a relaxing visit.

The only minor drawback was that the air conditioning does not work below 25 degrees, which might be an issue for those who prefer cooler temperatures. However, the owners were incredibly helpful and attentive, always available to assist with any questions or needs. Their warm hospitality truly made the experience special. Booked this through Booking.com. We rarely give anything above an 8/10 to a place there, but this deserved a 10 for sure! We couldn't think of even 1 thing we didn't like. Location is perfect, lively all around, luxury building, 24/7 security, easy entry and check-in, the room was big, had everything we needed and more. Clean, warm, comfortable beds as well.
