Check in at Hotel Kalma on the next street over. Old hotel. Rooms are small, with strange arrangement. We had a 1 bedroom unit with 2 single beds in the tiny bedroom, and an old couch sofa. It smelled of smokers which was most unpleasant. Smoking is not allowed in any of the rooms but people break this rule it seems. Furnishings and fixtures are outdated, the door handle was falling apart. Partial kitchen with microwave so you can prepare simple meals but no oven. No laundry in unit. No airconditioning either so it was extremely hot during the day. They provide 2 small fans but it was still unbearable during the middle of the day even with windows open. The positives; Good location, a short walk to the thermal lake, and many restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Balaton lake is about 15 minutes by car. The front desk agent was polite and helpful. There is free park about 12 minutes walk across the stadium. Otherwise street parking is payable from 8:00-18:00. Check the...

There is no air conditioning in the room and the windows cannot be opened properly, therefore fresh air barely came in. The only way to cross-vent is to have the...

No lighting in bedroom other than small insignificant lamp, neither of which worked properly. Fridge is great. We made sandwiches and obviously tea and coffee. Appreciated apartment being serviced every day. Clean towels daily. Beds comfy and linen clean. Shower was ok. Overall a great week...
