Hunguest Hotel Panorama only has one thing going for it. The closeness to Haviz thermal lake. The hotel caters to German tourist, some Russians, and Hungarian medical guests here for treatments. If any rooms are renovated, ours was not. We dont mind the tiny room size, but carpet was very stained making the room feel dirty even thou it was clean. Bed was on the hard side. Bathroom is tiny but efficient, with a shower. Balcony is good, with a little plastic table and 2 chairs. With a little wine, you can enjoy the view and forget about the room. There is an old style tube tv. There are no extra outlets nor easily accessible ones to plug in chargers. Lamps had to be unplugged by floor to free an outlet. There is NO A/C. We kept the balcony door open at night to keep the room comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were included in our rate. Breakfast was ok. But dont bother with the dinner buffet. Nothing was hot. All dishes were institutional style. Check it out, get some salad, then go out to one of the many local food places for a decent meal. Drinks are extra. The pool has an extra fee, though we did not see that mentioned on the web site. Parking is difficult in area. Hotel charges 2200 forint per day for parking. I am told if you book in advance room prices can be almost half. Staff was ok. Very, very few understand any english. Keep google translator running. Wifi is free and works well. ||Overall hotel is good for the 3 minute walk to the entrance of Heviz. Its worth it for that if you dont insist on any other...
Read moreFood - very low quality food at both breakfast and dinner. Nothing feels fresh or even appetizing. Possibly the ingredients for the food are bought to be the cheapest. Definitely not the food quality what a 4 star hotel should stand for.|2. Staff - they are not able to solve any problems, they look like they do not want to be there at all. Not a friendly place Manager included.|3. Cleaning - during our 3 nights/4 days stay the room has NOT been cleaned. Not even once!|4. Price - they have the same price level as an actual 4 star hotel the only problem is that this hotel does not qualify for it. Whoever approved this hotel to be a 4 star hotel has never ever stayed in one. This hotel qualifies for a maximum of 2 stars.|5. Pet - We have paid for our dog stay 10.000 HUF/night (27EURO) which I find ridiculous for this hotel.|6. Parking - don't be fooled parking does not exist on site, you are directed with a map to park the car around 10 minutes walk from the hotel.|7. Room - the room size is small however it was the only thing in the Hotel which felt like I was a bit closer to 2023 and not 1990 as the rest of the Hotel. It looks newly renovated, however do no expect having any appliances in the room such as a kettle, a fridge or even a iron. The shower is very very slippery you must be aware all times not to slip.|8. Elevator - 2 elevators for 13 floors with 17 rooms per floor. Do the math for the waiting time.|Will never return. Avoid if you want to have a relaxed,...

Az eszem szerint 3 csillagot, a szívem szerint 4 csillagot adok a helynek az alábbiak okán: a szálloda a központban található, pár perc sétára a Hévízi Tófürdőtől a kilátás pazar, mi a 9. emeleten kaptunk egy szobát az amúgy 13 emeletes épületben a szoba modern, a minibár kellőképpen felszerelt, a tisztaság páratlan a szolgáltatások megfelelőek (bár nem értem, hogy pl. a billiárdért, csocsóért miért kérnek pénzt. Mi a billiárdot próbáltuk ki, melynek óradíja 2000 forint.), a wellnesrész szuper (gőzkabin
