Chinita Real Mexican Food Koramangala — Restaurant in Bengaluru

What an amazing place! Not a huge place...it’s a small area on the 1st floor above the egg’s kitchen but it’s got all the right positive vibes there!

First of all Kudos to the Lady at the front who let us give the order on the phone as we were stuck in traffic and the restaurant was almost about to close for its afternoon break (restaurants rarely these days take the orders on the phone claiming that the customers never turn up) Well thank you for believing in us and taking our order. :)

And now about the food! Authentic, delicious, marvellous Mexican food! Don’t even remember when was the last time I had such an amazing Mexican food! Was a little disappointed that they were out of Gaucamole but the food served got us over it ;) We had ordered for the below : Nachos with beans and cheese (one of us was vegan so they even got us a vegan nachos with a vegan cheese on it ) - it was filled with beans and cheese. Loved it. We ordered 3 different Barrito Bowls : green pepper and onions, zucchini and corn & spinach and caramelised onions - All 3 very finger lickin good! Bean and cheese Tacos - the tacos we were hoping to be hard but here they were soft as a normal Roti, a bit different but the taste was the same. Brilliant. Quesadilla (veg) -filled with cheese, Nothing to complain about. And lastly to finish the meal off we called for Churros with Chocolate dip - To our surprise the dip was dark chocolate but it complimented the Sweet Churros perfectly.

All in all, it’s a must place to go if you want to have Amazing Mexican Food...

Chinita Located at 25, 1st Floor, 5th Cross, Koramangala 5th Block, Bangalore. I must try different different place or cuisines, I want to try some Mexican, so I came here, and this place is one of the authentic places for Mexican Food. Chinita means the name of the little girl, and it pleasure to meet the one of the partners of the place Miss Candice, She is from Malaysia and serving the best and authentic Mexican food in Bangalore.

Ambience: Decent ambiance with yellow lights and huge seating space with wooden tables and chairs, A perfect place for hangout and having the Real Mexican food.

Food: Almond Horchata - The Mexican drink almond - rice beverage which is good and refreshing.

Roasted Zucchini and corn – The grilled tacos specialty or signature tacos of the Chinita with 2 grilled to crisp corn tortillas stuffed with cheese, onion tomato relish served with fermented Pico de gallo.

Spinach and Caramelized onions Tostadas – Again the amazing Mexican dish, which is roasted tomato salsa, pico de Gallo, queso fresco.

Nachos - The in house, homemade tortilla chips topped with melted cheese, beans, salsa and jalapeno served with dips.

Desserts: Flan - The authentic Mexican dessert which include caramel custard and it was very delicious and yumi. Chilli Chocolate Cake - Its WOW and great. (Must Try)

We wanted to find a nice place for MEXICAN food in Bangalore and we had a lot of positive reviews on Chinita so we decided to try it out.

What we had:

Soyrizo Quesadilla – We weren't not much of Quesadilla or Soy fan – but with this dish changed my outlook- I loved the look of the plate, all the textures, flavours and the taste of this dish Grilled Corn (Sweet corn the cobs with cheese & chilli powder) was amazing as well. Couldnt stop eating it. The Chicken Nachos - Rightly done. Generous toppings and portion size. Chinita Prawn Salad - Very flavourful. An absolute must try. Grilled Beef Tostadas - crisp corn tortillas stuffed with grilled tender beef and cheese served with pico de gallo Braised Pork Soft Shell Taco - lip smacking generous chunks of tender pork Grilled Taco (roasted Pork) - Delicious! Flan - Similar to Caramel custard, we loved it. Churros - the churros were some of the best I have ever had Chocolate Chilli Cake -Sweet chocolate pudding on the outside with a hint of chili in every bite. One of the must eats.

The quantity served is quite good. Coming to the service, it’s spot on and the best. They really do go out an extra mile to make sure you feel comfortable and well tended to. Overall, a great experience and worth...
