This hotel is one of its kind - some aspects are excellent while others are abysmal.|the good:|1. The staff - they were amazing, some 5 starts cant match the service level and genuine intent they display. I travelled with my 90 year old father and 10 year old child - they were excellent with both. Kind serving from the heart|2. they really try to give the guests a good experience - what they lack in infrastructure they make do with service|3. location - if you have to be in that location this place is great - good food, shopping, transportation all at easy access . very safe - I walked back at 2AM and didnt feel unsafe.|4. the premium rooms - spacious and also has a powder room which was a big plus for us. ||The bad|1. infrastructure - the hotel is falling apart - smelly rooms, stained carpets in the corridor, frayed towels, bird poo stuck to the window - it has it all|2. room size - we has a premium ( which was great) and a twin which was worst - the beds were narrower than a single, the room stank so much that one could not breathe.|3. I think this is a basic hotel - I did not see a gym, pool or a restaurant that served round the clock. I am not looking for 24 hr room service but not getting food late afternoon was a bummer|4. the showers - the shower mixers are weird - one minute they give out boiling water, the other min ice cold water - this was in every room - we had 3 and even changed twice in our 3 night stay.||in summary - if I have to go back and stay in this locality - I would go for Greenpark across the road where the infrastructure was many times better for a slight...

Issue happened with my room was that after locking the room when leaving it will not open again(the unlocker card wouldn't work nor the master card) This happened for 4/5 days in my stay and it really frustrated me , also denying me entry for a night to my room and sleeping in other room with all my belongings locked in actual room. Even after all this the staff didn't understand the criticality of the problem , they will send me back to the room saying its resolved and when i go back the problem is same , again they will send back telling tht now its sok, but still the problem is there, even after saying them that first go and check yourself whether its resolved they will confidently send you that its resolved but it wasnt resolved anytime. Here bit of professionalism is required.
Second for the in-room biscuits etc present in the room, they will take the cost without prior telling that is chargable and nothing mentioned about it in the room. While leaving when telling them that such issues are critical and should be handled in much more effective manner , it felt by their behavior that they took it casually and do not understand the criticality and how such problems can affect reputation of a hotel as these things are the only ones which are comparable to other hotels, otherwise all costly hotels have nice rooms and courteous staff.

Power cuts multiple times, once for a whole morning without hot water and no light and ventilation. |2. Internet is HORRIBLE - had to get data packs on the mobile phone to use. Changed multiple rooms but note that the BW is limited to the upper limit of 3Mbps - which it never hits. Imagine working or taking a work zoom call at internet speeds of 1.5 Mbps!! Reminded me of dialup days. |3. They advertize HDTV - but no HD channels! It took multiple requests and conversations with manager to get a few HD channels. If you wont have HD channels, what is the point of having and advertizing HDTVs?? |4. NOISE: Note that MANY rooms are right below the three dots and a dash bar! That is noisy all the time - especially at night and early mornings. They had to give me a different room to sleep in for a night becuase the noise was unbearable. ||Had a 9 night stay and decided to check out one day earlier. Was not approved coz teh request came a bit late at 5 PM - which is forgivable. But the manger on duty was neither polite nor apologetic. He just denied most issues. ||For issue 1) with power cuts, I have seen soo many guests come downstairs and complain. ||Overall, the hotel has a lot to amend and apologize for. I hope they fix these issues otherwise it will be one of those hotels that no one...
