This is a long term review as I have stayed here for about 7 days over past 3 months. |Please note this has vegetarian only restaurant.||Location - The ramp of Lakdi Ka Phool metro station ends at the entrance of this hotel. Easy to reach ||Check in/Check out - If you have a prior booking it takes just about a minute. Check out too is quick.||Rooms - The executive rooms are reasonably spacious for two. Beds are comfortable. Rooms are clean, well lit. Bathroom is little cramped but manageable. Shower is very good and you get hot water both in wash basin and shower. Toiletries provided are just ok. ||Service - Staff are very helpful and friendly. If you make a request, you are served within 5 minutes. Good thing is you get everything without asking and they have not given me an opportunity to complain. ||Food - One of the biggest attraction is their restaurant. It may look ordinary, believe me younger some of the best South Indian food which is economical. Don’t miss their buffet lunch||Tariff - For the services they provide and the location, a tariff of about 3500 for single may not be cheap but is worth the money you pay. ||This is a busy hotel with lot of group bookings. Better call them and book. Though they have a 1200 noon check in they are happy to provide early check in if rooms are available. ||If you are looking at a decent stay with good vegetarian food at easily accessible location, this could be the best you could get...
Read moreStayed in this hotel from 14.12.2016 to 16.12.2016. On my last visits I stayed in its new avtaar - hotel Abode which is situated in the same campus and is a new property. So hotel Abode is luxury at budget price. Sree Venkateshwara hotel is an average hotel. I had booked its Club room and was expecting better amenities which were lacking. The front desk was supportive. I requested for check out at 1 p.m. which was granted without any charge. The room was not that spacious so was the bathroom, but it was neat and clean with good house keeping. Tea maker was there but mini fridge was missing. One electronic locker was also there for safe keeping of valuables. The best thing in the hotel was that both Venkateshwara and abode has the same breakfast spread in the same venue which is very rich in taste and variety. In the evening I went to their 'Eagle Bar' but it was over crowded and was not attended for 10 minutes. I moved out and went to nearby building in the hotel Centre Court campus. One advantage is its location - dot on Lakdikapul metro. Other modes of conveyances are always available just out side the hotel. Regarding wifi or free wifi, one day I needed the same and asked for password from reception. They told that they would inform which never informed. There are a lot of hotels in the vicinity, more comfortable hotel Abode in the same campus. So choice galores. No...
Read moreWe checked in at 5.10 am in the morning today on 15 August 2019 and the staff at the reception is hopeless and non welcoming. We were taken to a room which was of a size of a coffin and the air conditioning in the room was hopeless. The most basic thing is egg omelette which the smallest hotel across the country would willingly offer any point if time during the day with a smile. Here, the great people informed that omelette is served after 11:30am. Wow. On asking for tea and coffee sachets which any hotel provides as much as one wants, they flatly refused saying that it is not refilled and shall be only jf the guest continues to stay. Overall, most horrible hospitality, no staff etiquettes, no support nor courtesy and this is the first hotel we came across where the customer has to live as per their whims and fancies. Their behaviour pattern is such as if they don’t require online business as they seem to be satisfied with their local walk in guests or is it the case that they behave this way with all, we are totally unaware. But surely, wouldn’t recommend this hotel, even to our enemy. Did not take many photos as seriously we were more embarrassed clicking it than this stupid hotel offering it....
