Mughal Restaurant — Restaurant in Hyderabad

This is a well known place for people who are in this part of the city. Used to be a GoTo place for our friends during our college days. Visited this place after a long time on a Sunday afternoon with few foodie buddies and I must say, we were not disappointed. No matter how many fancy restaurants come-up in town, there are only few places that satisfy ones food cravings and this place definitely does that for me. This is not a place I'd expect ambiance or service but they were just good enough for my liking.

Coming to the main aspect i.e. food, we started off with soups in the form of Veg Manchow Soup (3*) and Chicken corn soup (I did not get to taste this). Then came a hoard of starters

While our tummies were almost full, we followed with the main course which were accompanied by Tandoori Roti, Lachcha Parantha, Masala Kulcha and Butter naan which were all soft and went well with the following curries we ordered

Mutton Roganjosh 4 Mughalai Mutton 5 Chicken Chatpata 4 Kadai Paneer

Then came the star of the day, the mutton Biryani. Soft, fall off the bone mutton with well cooked biryani rice, was just perfect.

We closed our meal with some Gulab Jamun 3 Kheer 5

The worst service ever I Experience ....no hospitality at all no one will come to ask you. Even if you tell to them lots of time also they don't care....we ordered one fried rice and one Biriyani there was no salad no water no raita n all even no spoons we eat with that serving spoons, owner(relative-owner was not available for his sons marriage )was very rude when we tell all these after finish our lunch instead of solving the issue he start insulting us like we are did mistake to complaining them.... He said that Ase hotahe kya hua late hogeya to kya problem he.... Apko samajhna chahia....and he scolded us after knowing that we are very regular to that place (last three years I m going that place regularly for lunch as its near to my office) even he don't think that he was...

This restaurant is right on the main road, easy to spot and I had decent experience over here last week. First we had chicken corn soup and veg hot and sour soup. They served good number of starters and most of them need improvement. Tandoori chicken golden prawn and mushroom 65 were good. Tangdi kabab, murgh malai kabab and hariyali kabab could have been better. The texture was not soft and it was salty. Apollo fish and tawa fish were not good either. In Main course We had Mutton roghan josh, Kadai Paneer,Mutton mughlai , Chicken chatpata , Tandoori roti, Laccha parta,Masala kulcha and Butter naan. Kadai paneer and mutton mughlai were good but rest of the dishes need little improvement. I liked their Biriyani. Cheers...
