Anywhere else, i'd give it 3 stars, but you have to see this place in the context of Sudder Street, where many hotels/guest houses have nasty rooms.||||1.) The Building & Employees||||Nothing special, five stories of concrete. My room was on the third floor, there is no elevator, so don't choose this if you have a broken hip. The employees are friendly. There is free WiFi with good speed. There is no restaurant (but there are a lot of options nearby)||||2.) The Room||||I had a standard room. There was a TV, two beds, a ceiling fan and a window with a good view over the surrounding area (not that the sight was particularly pretty). Hot water comes in buckets, the shower is cold. Cost me 700 Rupees a night. ||||3.) Location||||It's not directly on Sudder Street, but like 10 meters from one end of it. That's no biggie. You can walk to New Market from here in about five minutes. Park Street is also in walking distance. ||||||Bottom Line: I doubt you'll find a better place at this price in the Sudder Street area. Finding a clean room is difficult enough here, so Centrepoint is a good option for...

It wasn't cheap (700 rupees) but not bad value compared to other places we have stayed on...
