Luxury hotel at budget price... The hotel has impressed me really...At the very day while entering the hotel for the very first time this Sunday evening in 4.6.2017 I was disheartened by the nature of entrance. No proper signage. Hotel Victoria beside it has a better entrance. Even the restaurant beside has a better entrance. The lift is from the first floor and the reception is at the Second floor. My room number was 501 on the fifth floor. After check in process when I entered the room it was really impressive. Like a picture postcard. I bet you cannot judge this hotel by the small entrance. When I compare this hotel with some other properties beside this, this one is way too good. I was so impressed that I am taking so much time in writing this review. I also convinced my colleague who always stays at Grand Hotel near this place and he came to verify whether I am exaggerating. When he entered my room he was also impressed. Only because his Grand booking was fully paid he did not shift. Otherwise he was ready to shift in this. This hotel does not have proper canteen. Morning tea and evening tea is complementary. After 8 pm canteen is closed. Morning breakfast is also complementary. We were served uttapam, then other day bread omelette and dhosa on the last day. All items were good. But having no canteen is a blessing. You can try different restaurants nearby and also can bring outside food which otherwise not allowed in other hotels. AC is central AC. Ample room. Easily other hotels nearby charge more than this place for rooms half the size of this and with less amenities. There is a Samsung LED 43 inches which I have seen better than cheap brands installed in other nearby hotels. There is a mini refrigerator where you can keep your drinks. 2 bottle of Mineral Water is free everyday. 1 litre Bisleri bottles x 2 Bottle. There is a safe inside where you can lock your valuables. You don't need so much space in a hotel but having such big space will definitely delight you. I will ask everyone to give it a try. I have stayed in one room and delighted. I believe other rooms in the fifth floor will be equally good and newly built. The description as "budget hotel" is not able to describe it properly. In Google in found this to be named a budget hotel but after I stayed here I must say that it's no less than a nicely disguised luxury hotel in budget price. Definitely it cannot be compared with a star property for other amenities like a gym or a good inhouse restaurant but for official travel where you come back to the hotel for a nice sleep this place offers you more than you can ask for. Give it a try. You will not repent I believe. I stayed @ Rs 5500(incl tax) booked through OYO.

Had some emergency because of which I had to stay in a hotel instead of my home. Ideal For? This Hotel is mostly ideal for bachelors or men, even married couple too but cannot recommend because of one factor which I have mentioned below. Its ideal for people who don't want bells and whistles but a practically affordable living space Facilities? When we look for something practical their is something we compromise on, the rooms are not huge but adequate I had booked a single sharing ideal for 2 adults and if adjusted with a mattress you can opt for 3 people not sure if the hotel would adjust. Another compromise comes in for of wardrobe, no wardrobes here just hangers on 2 side to hang your clothes bags go under the bed (old school style), No Parking available if you have a car but can park at a nearby BMC pay and park (additional cost😅) last spoiler common washroom on each floor however ladies & gents washrooms are seperate and well maintained and clean atleast the gents one which I had went to and yes hot water is available whenever you want it. To sum it up good practical and affordable staying option.

It is a very good hotel near Chatrapati Shivaji terminus in the budget of 4k per day, good place for lazy travellers (who enjoys the less crowded night and doesn't want to visit lots of places in a single run). Easy to find cabs in night also. Situated near easily identifiable landmark i.e. GPO Mumbai. The only con of this hotel is that it doesn't has its own restaurant, hence the complimentary breakfast is not that good.

Pathetic services, these people are over smart, Me and my friend recently booked this hotel from make my trip. We booked one room with two single beds but when we reached hotel around 11:00 in the night, the person sitting at reception told us that there is no room left with two beds so we can accommodate you in a another room where there was only one single bed. he also proposed us to give extra mattress. we denied for that because there was no space in the room for extra mattress. Then we asked him to refund our money he said i can not refund your money you can talk to OYO to get your money refund. we called OYO customer care where someone picked up our call and said that he will talk to the hotel manager and we will get the room. we were waiting for his revert but he disconnected our call without giving any information. we called again then these OYO people repeated the same exercise we did not get any satisfactory answer from them. lastly they directed us to call makemytrip. Then we called makemytrip customer care where they asked that they will talk to the hotel manager and revert to us. Finally they said that hotel doesn't have any room vacant so they will refund our money. No doubt we got the money back but it took 2 hours and we were feeling so exhausted because we traveled for entire day. My only question is why they took our reservation if there was not any room available ??

After that hotel manager proposed us to give another room with two beds. Then i asked how can you give us room now with two beds he replied that they sell this room in premium category. But as i believe the actual intention was to sell the same room at higher rates.

I would never prefer to stay again at such...

If you are on the Shahid Bhagat Singh Road, in Fort, then you might happen to lookup and notice the building of Welcome Hotel. While, the exterior might look unkept and in tatters, do not form your opinion yet. After climbing to floors of steep stairs, you'll land up at the reception of this hotel. Don't be hasty in judging it as yet. While the clerk at the desk may be mean or haughty, she means business. Do not form your opinion yet. You may come in pairs and may be nearing forties but in her eyes you might be eloping and hence you need to ensure you look your age or even older to pass through and get the room you seek, do not form your opinion yet. Well, here's a disclaimer... If you are a tourist and looking for a room with a view, do not form your opinion yet. Now coming to what you want to hear. It's a good BnB place, with clean linen, refurbished bright interiors, resourceful, clean bathroom and toilet with chic bath fittings. Premium looking interiors compensate for the dull exteriors. There is a separate visitor section at the entrance, a must for business meetings, then there is a small study in the bedroom, luggage rack, and the basics. The ambient lighting cannot compensate for the absent natural light but then one cannot have it all. You will find good food options outside this place. It's not a friendly infrastructure for the partially able and for elders with mobility disability as the entrance starts with stairs and the lift can be found only from the first floor and upwards. If you are looking for an experience, you can surely avoid it but if you are looking for a clean hygienic place for resting at nights then you are at the best place. Hope you find my review suitable and...
