I recently had the unfortunate experience of attending a movie and I must express my profound disappointment with the overall management and quality of the viewing experience. Despite my anticipation for an enjoyable afternoon, multiple issues marred the occasion, leaving me and fellow moviegoers frustrated and dissatisfied.
First and foremost, the movie commenced a staggering 45 minutes behind schedule, causing considerable inconvenience to the audience. . This lack of management was disheartening and demonstrated a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction.
Moreover, attempts to seek assistance from the theater managers proved futile, as they were conspicuously absent or unresponsive to our concerns. The evident lack of crowd management further exacerbated the chaos and frustration among patrons, contributing to an unpleasant atmosphere throughout the screening.
Adding to the discomfort was the malfunctioning air conditioning system, which failed to adequately regulate the temperature within the theater, making the viewing experience considerably less enjoyable. Additionally, the sound quality was subpar, with speakers intermittently breaking and distorting the audio, further detracting from the overall immersion and enjoyment of the film.
In summary, my experience at mukta A2 was marked by poor organization, inadequate customer service, technical deficiencies, and a general lack of regard for the audience's comfort and satisfaction. It is disheartening to witness such disregard for quality and professionalism in what should have been a simple and enjoyable movie outing. As a loyal patron of cinema, I sincerely hope that these issues are addressed promptly to ensure a more pleasant and seamless experience for...

Today my wife & I observed very unpleasant and rude behaviour by the management. This was around 11 am in the morning when we had just finished our marathon and because there were no washrooms around, my wife decided to check same at this place, however she was refused to use it, that is where I decided to make one humble and gentle request to kindly consider only her allowance to use the washroom (sensitive reasons), however the person standing inside was not at all interested to know the concerns to which again I requested him to kindly speak to his manager. I just want to highlight this to whoever incharge is that, we would have walked out without further discussion but because the person standing inside went to ask his manager and despite seeing us from short distance (rather my wife in uncomfortable state), he just made us wait purposely and later simply asked the person to pass on the refusal message, neither did he shared any nearby common washroom location.
This may not hold any value to the management but will definitely make people visiting this place aware of how the situations are...
Read moreThe theatre has always ranked top on film buffs list. It is one of the oldest theatre of Mumbai earlier known as New Excelsior. It was always a mecca for Hollywood film buffs.
It is worth a visit with your family as it offers jazzy interiors and old world charm. However theatre is not yet converted into multiplex format hence there is one huge hall for watching a single movie which means a smaller screen to watch from a distance. The seat upholstery also appears cheap. Tickets are mostly affordable than a multiplex due to large volume of seats available.
One of the oldest theatre of Mumbai. From our childhood days in 1970's we would flock to this theatre for Hollywood flicks. The interiors have always been very impressive. I remember to have seen Sigourney Weaver movie - Alien (1979) in its full glory in wide screen and stereophonic sound.
In our child hood days it was considered as a premium movie house commanding the most expensive tickets. There is time to revamp the theatre so that it is appealing to the new z generation and to restore...
