Karohi Haveli — Hotel in Rajasthan

Haveli is at the great location. Within walking distance of all touristy locations of Udaipur. Great rooms but very poor service. No hospitality and flexibility to accomodate services for families with kids. Extremely kid unfriendly. Owner himself - Bhawsar, doesn't cooperate so you don't expect anything from the staff.

Even though 50% of the hotel was empty, Didn't provide 2 hours of late check-out as the kid was sleeping.

Housekeeping doesn't clean the property and rooms properly. No mopping or brooming of the rooms even after multiple reminders. No basic first aid kit available on the property.

Room service takes atleast 50 minutes to serve food. Even the restaurant services are poor with no one to take the food order (waiting time of 15 mins to someone take the order and another 45 minutes to serve the food).

Also, preferential treatment is provided to the foreign/international tourists unlike to the Indian citizens. Mr bhati, hotel manager will personally escort foreign tourists to the rooms/restaurants/pools and accomodate their requests, while for Indian nationals no one cares,...

This hotel was not as nice the pictures.It was winter when I stayed the hotel did not cater for the winter period with no heating in the room, no safe in the room, bathroom very poor and needs upgrading and the curtain did not fit the window internally so as guests wander by your room could see in.Breakfast was very poor and restaurant was dirty with staff sitting around on their phones instead of working. I found reception staff very uncaring about any of the issues.Our room was not cleaned or made up for us through the whole stay we hat to ask for toilet essentials each day.There was a private party in the hotel while I was staying there the staff did not make me feel welcome at all which made the whole stay very uncomfortable and very noisy so did not sleep much for the two night stay.The room was advertised and I payed extra for a view of the lake which is...

I took my family of 4 to Udaipur for vacation and we found this hotel on Tripadvisor. The location, the rooms and the food were just 10/10. The staff - reception and the restaurant were so helpful! I really loved the service that they provided. The rooms were neat and clean with all the bathroom and in-room facilities. The view was just spectacular as we took the rooms overlooking the lake and it was worth the price! If I have chance to come to Udaipur again, I’d love to stay at Karohi Haveli again.
