HOTEL RAM INN — Hotel in Tamil Nadu

We booked 4 x 3 Bed Rooms for 12 people through MakeMyTrip and made advance payment to MakeMyTrip. When we checked in : Soaps were given in our hand - when we asked if no soaps are kept in the bathroom - a guy rudely said THIS IS OUR SYSTEM There were 3 adults in each room - the reception guy confirmed there are towels kept for all the guests - But we entered the room we found ONLY 1 Towel in the room - When we contacted the reception we were told ONLY 1 Towel per room and all three guests should manage with ONE Towel We specifically booked big rooms for 3 adults and we were shown photo of additional bed also while booking - But there were ONLY 2 Pillows - No pillow for the third person. When we asked for a pillow they send two used and diirty square type chair cushios and NOT proper pillow. When we objected we were told thats what is available No blanket for the third person and when we asked for one we were told to MANAGE IN THE DOUBLE BED and no bedsheet can be given for the third person. ALL THIS AFTER SELECTING 3 GUESTS AND PAYING ADDITIONAL MONEY FOR THE 3 BED ROOM (not a standard double room) When we called the reception from the room a drunkard person answered the phone and said in Tamil " KEELA VAADAA ONNA PAATHUKUREN" - a REAL ROWDY IS BEING EMPLOYED TO MANAGE THE RECEPTION We made a strong complaint to MakeMyTrip who immediately refunded Rs 2500/- by a voucher. MakeMyTrip is really a professionally managd company but this hotel Ram Inn is managed by rowdies and they threaten us when we ask for the basic service. We booked some 9 rooms for 3 days via online and man the people at the reception are very rude! Normally the hotel will kindly let you know you should pay for the extra person, but here they never let me go to the room!! I just arrived and they asked me to call the person who booked! It's a 2 bed room, so naturally if I also stay in the room, I would be changed for the extra bed. But those people never let me go and said it's against the hotel rules!!!! And demanded we pay for the extra then and there. The next day all our relatives came, some 12 people, and we had booked sufficient room for them provided we include extra beds for the rooms. But that man at the reception got the name list of our relatives and said there are more people than the rooms booked!!!!!! Is this the way to treat the guests??? And these people are in the hospitality business! 😂 Messy hotel!!!! We stood there for literally half an hour! All of my relatives!!! And the next day they never even bothered to move our luggage from the reception to the taxi! Stood there like a statue! And I, as a girl, carried all the four heavy luggage myself. Pros:||||1) Rooms are new,Clean. bathroom got ventilation and clean. ||||2) got wardrobe, Diwan for extra person to sleep, Table & chair, LED TV, Working AC Plus they give basic toileties like one lux soap, clinic plus shampoo. two tupperware RO treated water bottles no mineral water.||||3) Executive & Luxury rooms are spacious.||||Cons:||||1) Night duty staff dont have any sync with day duty staff.||2) They want full amount to be paid in advance before check-in or if you dont give them exact change they will hold up to the funds as if we going to run away with it.||3) Room service we need to pay separate and they will not add to your room or allow to pay at check out.||4) Complimentary breakfast they provide just 70 Rs token per person no buffet kind of spread.There is restaurant next door where you can order BF. For me one coffee & Poori they took 70 rs token from me dont know exact price.Mind you they are not budget hotel. Average stay is above 1400 RS INR, Goes upto 2400 INR per night inclusive of tax for luxury rooms.||||You get better hotels for the better price with better...
