WESTLAND HOTEL — Hotel in Tamil Nadu

I don't know about the rooms and services, yeah, but undoubtedly I didn't get any hospitality, though. It really skipped out of my mind that check-in time is noon until the next 24 hours. The pitty boy at the reception called his manager for early check-in, and he said to wait till noon. The manager was so stubborn that he didn't even care after explaining that a person was coming from far away after travelling for more than 36 hours, avoiding the hospitality industry norms. I really appreciate you being so unhuman. My business trip was for 3 days, and now I will stay here for one day. Hence, the people reading the reviews should take note and advise not to book the hotel online and enter the hotel directly; no rules and regulations will be followed, and you may get the rooms whenever you reach them. Good neat and clean property. A small suggestion to the management to take in to concern of installing exhaust fans in restrooms. As its centralized Ac with no option to open the windows the smell becomes suffocating.

Beds were very soft and spring model. I prefer harder ones so didn't find comfortable. But this depends on personal choice. Also as it's just bang on main road the vehicles honking was a disturbance for a pleasant sleep. Choose a room thats on the other side.

Staff behavior very very polite and overall ambience is also upto the mark. Check in check out very smooth. Only breakfast available. They served with a smile and taste was fresh homemade like. I loved the service and food taste both 👍 👌

I can start off by saying the room was decently sized. They had all the regular amenities, TV, air conditioning, room service on call.

One negative was that there was no exhaust fan in the toilet which left a damp stench whenever anyone took a bath.

Breakfast was served downstairs in the medium sized dining hall. The waiters had to be repeatedly called to actually come take our order. They lacked the basic skill to serve water and provide cutlery when the food was finally served.

Quality of the food was decent, but the papayas were not quite ripe and the vada was not cooked enough to cut with a spoon. On a final note, the managerial staff was well behaved.
