Super Capital O Jayam Residency — Hotel in Tamil Nadu

Worst hotel of all time,never ever visit this hotel at any cost. I just booked room through agoda for 783 rs per night, I even paid all the amount through online.

At the arrival, I reached the place around 7.30 in the morning they told me to pay 1250 extra when I asked them what was the reason. They said the check in time is 12 noon since I arrived early I need to pay extra.

I told the receptionist I will come after 12 past noon also I arrived around 12.30 pm. Now there was new receptionist asked my details and booking ID confirmation etc which I provided. Then I asked why you are delying to hand over the room key for which she said manager will come finalize the confirmation.

The manager arrived after past 10 mins ,he told me that I need to pay extra 1250rs for the room I asked him why...He told we didn't mentioned the cost of the room through agoda also we didn't promote anything like that. I was fully frustrated for asking extra amount other than mentioned, I called agoda customer support they tried to call the hotel manager but kept rejecting the call...I asked the manager to attend the customer support for which he replied rudly that it's none of your business also he asked me to vacate the place...

There was other north Indian family who booked through agoda came and got scamed by the manager for asking extra money...I asked for the receipt for the amount I paid they ignored completely.

As my kind request before booking any hotel please kindly see the reviews of the customer and book it...

The rooms are very dirty ,improper plug socked, damaged TV, not working shower ,smelly...

I booked and AC room via Oyo and on arrival I was told they don't honor Oyo booking. They made me pay 1000 Rs more than the Oyo rate to give me the room. That is the least of the problems though.

The cockroach infestation was frightening. When I checked in and freshened up I saw a few cockroaches running around. When I asked for a different room they said they are full and can't move me. They sprayed some nice smelling delicate stuff. I saw at least a 100 cockroaches running around in the room when I came back in the night after going out for a few hours. I could capture only a few of them as they were mostly camera shy and ran into the woodwork, cabinet, toilet and even the bed. It took my some seconds to recover from the shock and pull out my phone, so I lost the chance to capture the full impact. I decided there is not point in fighting with them at that late night and moved everything to the middle of the bed and spent a sleepless night.

I got a prompt feedback call from another "Residency group" of hotels and they told me to send these videos and complaint to a Whatsapp number. It has been a few days since I did that but no response so far. I mean, what do I expect? Will they apologize and refund my money? I don't think so!!

If you have read this far, you know the conclusion and the decision you have to take. Run as far away and as fast as you can, even if they give you rooms for free. I made a booking at this lodge via agoda app for the price around 900 RS for an offer price for one day. But the receptionist asked me to pay an extra 200 Rs during checkin. I said okay. As I travelled from coimbatore and arrived at chrompet at around 6.45 in the morning. I had to do the early check-in. I said I will check out the same day around 8 o'clock in the evening. Later he made a call to someone and said i have to pay 300 more extra because I am checking in early. Totally 500 extra. I asked why I should pay 50-65% extra money. He said the same reason again. even the auto rickshaw guy told me that this lodge is getting more complaints. And he waited for some time for me to get my reservation confirmed.

I politely scolded the receptionist that when you are taking bookings through booking websites you are agreeing to its condition. And do a fair business. And don't take the helplessness of someone's situation for your unethical businesses.

If the lodge is not ready to give rooms for such an offer, why should these guys take bookings through those websites.

A good business should not break its promises made to its customers.

Only long standing businesses know how valuable customers are.

Today this lodge is one of the best customers. Tomorrow this will cascade.
