Dafam Enkadeli Thamrin Jakarta Syariah — Hotel in Jakarta

A hotel with a heavy Muslim vibes. Location wise it's superb! Breakfast was ok, pretty decent for a 3 star hotel. There were only 2 personnel manning the whole thing; a chef and the one other employee. The bed was REALLY comfortable, pillows were like clouds. But, they almost fooled me, the "king" bed was actually two single beds joined together, the downside was, the bedcover was not comfortable enough to cover both me and my wife. Aaaand somewhere in the middle of the two beds, there's a power plug! Wow lol. The bathroom was a source of accident waiting to happen, the size was small +the floor was even levelled, so when you took shower every part of the floor was wet, even the floor on front or around the trash bin + toilet and it's slippery. Moreover, shower sprayed directly to the door, well in 2-3 years that door will be busted. I know that you can't do anything with the size, but adding a anti-slip mat would really help to increase safety. Overall I still enjoyed staying here, I'll include this hotel to my options...

I stayed here for 1 night (23 April 2023 - 24 April 2023) with my mom at room 504.

Plus: Staffs helpful The room is clean

TIPS: better take photos or video once you enter the room. Check whether they only give you 1 pair of slipper or missing tea spoon.

WHY? On 25 April 2023, I received message from their staff, asking me whether I MISPLACED tea and coffee holder as they can’t find it after cleaning my room.

So, I sent the photo and video to them showing that there were only 2 glasses & coffee and tea and sugar placed on the tray. Along with electric kettle.

I also stated that : I booked a room with twin bed instead of single bed, but since they politely informed me when check in, I said I don’t mind. No teaspoon 1 hotel’s slipper only.

Did I complain? NOPE. But maybe I should so they can see whatever they put in the room is lacking something. And not asking the guests whether they...

The staff are good . The location is ok. But the hotel must be broken down and rebuilt. Almost nothing is right about it. The walls are dirty. The bedsheets and the pillows are torn out. The breakfast opitions are limited and mostly local food. I asked for extra blanket and they told me they were fully booked and out of blankets. I asked for extral pillow and they told me that I had to pay 25k per night for each extra pillow. The door of the bathroom got locked twice and I had to call the reception to fix it. My son got sick and threw out on the blanket , they charged me 100k to clearn that.

I travel alot and I have not experienced anything like that. So I had to shorten my stay...
