Titik Temu Cafe - Sarinah — Restaurant in Jakarta

Plan to work from cafe's here, because its new. Me and my friend (just two of us) went to Titik Temu Sarinah, and we waited to be seated. Its not so crowded even in lunch time, but indoor area more crowded than outdoor. We got seated near the window, with one table.

Me and my friend ordered 2 Honey Lime and 1/2 Pan Roasted Duck. We got free mineral water here. The food coming not-so-fast, and we got 2 plates. The taste of the duck is yummy, delicious, tender and juicy. My fave. The honey lime also taste good.

When I finished my lunch, I want to move into next table, near my friend so that i can work with better seated, because the table is full of plates. I ask the waitress, twice, when i ask her to clean our table, the first one (on the left side my table) said the table already booked by other guest, and the second one let me seated into the next table (on the right side my table). And then we ordered again, Dark Chocolate Cake & Cheese Cake. But when i already moved, the waitress told me that I cant move because i already booked for 2 people, and 2 people cant seated side by side, and they have another guests coming. And then I ask her, if I ordered the menu and split the bill (with new bill), she told me she will ask first the management. But I got bad-mood after she not let me move, so I moved again to my originally seated. The cake came late, when I want to move another cafe, and cancel the cake, the cake came. The cake is small portion, but the taste still good. Until I finished my cake, the waitress didnt show up to let me know what management said, and the other guests is coming after 30 minutes the waitress said that I cant move into another table. What makes me upset are, the guest near me only ordered one cup of coffee when he was in zoom meeting and near the exit area, there was 2 guests (i know they were mutual because they chat to each other) which seated side-by-side and open their laptop.

Bad service but delicious foods. Prefer the Titik Temu...

Temu Cafe seems to be a great option for breakfast in the Thamrin area, offering a nice ambiance, ample space, and a menu with some standout dishes. The interior and spacious layout clearly make it an attractive spot, especially for a relaxing breakfast.

My experience was a mixed bag, with some hits and a minor miss. I started with an Americano, which I unfortunately didn't get specific details about the coffee but it served its purpose as a morning caffeine kick. More interesting was the Charcoal Milk. While the creamy texture was undeniably decadent, the sweetness unfortunately masked the earthy, slightly smoky character typically associated with charcoal. It felt more like a flavored milk than a true charcoal experience.However, the food truly impressed. The Club Sandwich was a classic done exceptionally well. Sometimes simplicity is key, and Temu Cafe seems to understand that. It sounds like the ingredients were high quality and perfectly proportioned, making it a delicious and satisfying pick.

The Caesar Salad also earned my approval. Fresh ingredients are paramount in a salad like this, and the mention of them being "fresh" is a great sign. The creamy dressing, especially when paired with a crunchy slice of bread, sounds like the...

Titik Temu at Sarinah building truly lives up to its name, serving as a welcoming and charming "Meeting Point" for both friends and colleagues. The atmosphere is conducive to conversations and get-togethers, making it an ideal choice for such occasions. However, it's essential to note that reserving a table comes at a cost, with Rp 150K per person on weekdays and Rp 200K per person on weekends.

The coffee latte here is undeniably a highlight, boasting a delightful and satisfying flavor that satisfies the coffee lover's soul. Though initially intrigued by the idea of a coffee latte with rum, I was informed by the attentive waitress that the rum is only available in flavored form.

For non-coffee options, the Honey Lemon Tea is an absolute winner, offering a refreshing and tangy taste that delights the palate. As for the food, I highly recommend the Grilled Lamb & Kecombrang Rice, a delectable combination that tantalizes the taste buds.

However, the dessert experience left something to be desired. The Burnt Cheese Cake lacked the anticipated cheese flavor, leaving it slightly disappointing.
