I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Beji Ubud Resort, and I must say that my experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the resort's natural beauty, impeccable service, and serene ambiance.
Nestled amidst lush tropical foliage and overlooking the breathtaking Ayung River, the Beji Ubud Resort offers a genuine escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The warm Balinese hospitality was evident from the very start, as the staff greeted me with genuine smiles and traditional flower garlands, making me feel instantly welcome.
The accommodations were nothing short of luxurious. My room was elegantly designed with a perfect blend of modern comforts and traditional Balinese elements. The attention to detail was remarkable, from the intricately carved wooden furnishings to the private terrace that provided stunning views of the surrounding rice paddies and verdant landscapes.
What truly set this resort apart was its commitment to preserving the natural environment. The infinity pool seemed to seamlessly merge with the Ayung River valley, creating an awe-inspiring backdrop for relaxation. I spent many hours lounging by the pool, immersing myself in the tranquility of the surroundings while enjoying the attentive poolside service.
Dining at Beji Ubud Resort was a delightful culinary journey. The open-air restaurant offered a diverse array of delectable Balinese and international dishes, each expertly prepared using locally sourced ingredients. Whether savoring a traditional Nasi Goreng or indulging in a succulent grilled seafood dish, every meal was a treat for the senses.
Beyond the physical beauty of the resort, the staff's dedication to ensuring a personalized experience truly stood out. The concierge was always eager to assist with arranging tours, spa treatments, and cultural activities, ensuring that every moment of my stay was filled with enriching experiences.
One of the highlights of my stay was the on-site spa, where I indulged in rejuvenating treatments inspired by Balinese wellness traditions. The skilled therapists used natural ingredients and ancient techniques to create a sense of profound relaxation and harmony.
In conclusion, my stay at Beji Ubud Resort was nothing short of magical. It's a place where modern luxury intertwines with the authenticity of Balinese culture and nature's serenity. The combination of breathtaking views, impeccable service, and attention to detail truly makes this resort a hidden gem in the heart of Ubud. I wholeheartedly recommend Beji Ubud Resort to anyone seeking an enchanting and unforgettable...
Read moreThis has to be the worst stay of my life in a resort. Big lack of hygiene in the room allocated, room 301. I was afraid to sleep every night because gecko are walking on the walls. First night 3-4 of them were on the walls. I have ring reception and 3 boys come with spray and tried to send them out and they said “it’s normal, because we are in the forest”!!!!!! It’ s not normal!!! It can happen, but you can not say it’s normal to have gecko in your room, what’s the point to pay a hotel room then??? There are ants everywere. The housekeeping is non- existential . The state of the shower, makes me feel sick. I could not use the shower so I had to wash myself with a towel, because this is how bad is this complex!!!!!!!!!! The toilet, sink and walls are not clean at all!!!! I have had ants in my bed also. Every night I sleep with long trousers and blouse and socks at 30 degrees because I am afraid that ants and other insects will come on me!!!!!!! I have tried to find another hotel for the next 2 days, but was everything fully booked. This hotel needs urgent a big desinfection and housekeeping!!! Reception did not help to much. On each thing that I have said the answer was: “ it’ s normal”, “ it’ s not dangerous” and that “ every room it’ s the same and they do not have another room to change it for me because it’s all fully booked”.So, if I want to sleep will al the insects I sleep in the forest or in the street, no need to buy a hotel room and to pay for it. Food on breakfast not good at all. Disgusting!!! I recommend you to pay with 60-100€ more and choose a 5* hotel, if you want to have a holiday. If you want to not sleep all night, feel sick, be afraid, chase with spray ants and gecko all night come to Beji Ubud. On the other side staff was polite and friendly, but this doesn’ t help me to relax, enjoy the holiday when I come in the room and see how dirty is everything. Even the kettle was dirty and with fly on top of it. Mugs for coffee I think they haven’t seen the water for many years or are older than my grandmother!!! In this moment I am in the room, tomorrow at 5 I need to go to the airport. It’ s 00:13 and me and my husband we can’ t sleep because we hear a strange sound in the wardrobe. Every night, same sheet! Since 2 nights ago I did not sleep properly. I have asked them if every room it’ s the same why you don’ t write this on your website , were you selling the rooms? The answer: “ because it’ s normal”!!!!! Upset? Dissapointed? Stressed? Yes!!! For the first time in my life can’ t wait to go back home from this holiday, it...
Read moreThe hotel is located in a stunning area, with a picturesque pool overlooking the jungle from atop a cliff. It's evident that this place was once a luxurious retreat with great potential. Unfortunately, its current state is deeply disappointing.I was initially given room 108. As soon as I entered, I was met with a strong smell of mold, even with the air conditioning running. The room was filthy—cobwebs in the corners, visible mold on the walls and ceiling, and lizards crawling around. The bathroom was in poor condition, and basic amenities like a refrigerator, hair dryer, slippers, and robes were missing. Soap and shampoo were provided in dirty dispensers, which didn’t inspire confidence.I asked to change rooms, but the receptionist told me the hotel was fully booked. There was no mosquito net over the bed, and the room was filled with mosquitoes—I had to use repellent just to get some peace. Since I had only booked two nights, I decided not to ruin my trip by making a fuss right away.Later, I visited the pool area. While the pools themselves are beautifully designed and situated, they were unclean — murky water, floating debris, and moss growing on the walls. Broken, dirty sun loungers were scattered around, and there were no beach towels or staff to provide any. Trash bins were overflowing with cigarette butts and other garbage.Back in my room, I tried to take a shower, but the hot water was shut off while I was still washing my hair. I had to go to reception in a towel to complain. Eventually, I was moved to room 105. It was slightly better, but still unclean. That night, I realized the bed linen hadn't been changed and still smelled of the previous guest’s perfume.I returned to reception once more to report it, only to be told no staff were available and to come back the next day. At that point, I insisted on clean linen, and only after making a scene did the receptionist and a security guard come and change it.Overall, this has been one of my worst hotel experiences. In its current condition, this property is not fit to receive guests and, in my opinion, should not...
