Nice place to stay. Wish breakfast was included in the price! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Helmet and key of the motorcycle I asked was in front of my suite next morning. Too bad that they forgot to tell me that there was a kitchen, but a realized that the small refrigerator outside my door was mine. For the rest; room is cleaned everyday, garden and pool are well maintained. A/C works well without noise. Bathroom is big with shower that have good pressure and hot water. You can hear the frogs at night, witch is much better than the noise of motorcycles.||Still, the villa is about 30 minutes by foot from downtown Ubud, on a very busy road where sidewalks are in poor condition: sometime you must walk on the street witch can be dangerous whit (@#%$&) SUV passing very near of you. If it's a rainy day, you will be splashed by them. Also, there is not a lot of choices of warungs (restaurants) near of the villa. Obviously, Pondok Dewa can't be responsable for these...

Recommended for long-term stay. Love the Balinese-style compound with all the modern amenities: TV, airco, fast wifi, hot shower and bathtub. Love the strong water pressure (quite a rarity around Ubud). The terrace is the perfect place to enjoy the view of the pool, garden, and the rice field next door. Located in a quiet neighborhood but very close to Ubud central, with 2 big supermarket nearby on the big road. Loads of small coffee shops and cafes nearby as well as craft stores offering good price. Beautiful pool area with a hut next to it, perfect for spending the afternoon reading. Fresh brewed coffee served every morning and room is cleaned everyday. During the months of staying here, sheets and towels are replaced once a week, even if you don't ask for it. Our home away from home, thank you Ibu Nyoman, Pak Dewa and I Luh for the pleasant stay and hospitality. This could be one of the cleanest premise we've stayed in around Ubud. WiFi is fast enough to watch movies and water pressure is strong in the shower. It's nice to have the vibe of traditional Balinese house with modern amenities. We love the pool and the small hut next to it where we can have fresh brewed coffee in the morning. We can also use their kitchen to cook light meals. Ibu is also very generous and sometimes share some local food/treats and fruits with us. Perfect place for a long term stay. Walking distance to big supermarket Pepito and Delta Dewata.
