Hotel Accademia Firenze — Hotel in Florence

Right in the hustle and bustle of the city, this hotel is an oasis of quiet but within a few minutes you are sightseeing and exploring. ||We had a room at the back of the hotel with windows opening to a small inside courtyard so fresh air and daylight flooded in when we opened the shutters each morning. ||The rooms have no fancy frills - but everything is clean and works with enough plugs to charge all of your devices. Breakfast was more than adequate with the usual fruits, meats and cheeses, cakes and breads etc and travelling with our own kettle we were able to store milk in a fridge in our room so we could make tea in our room. ||It is just a few minutes’ walk from the station (almost not worth the taxi if you know where you are going) and the stairs are not too terrible and there is always someone is always on hand to help with cases. |||Everyone was helpful and happy to give help, recommendations and advice, every guest was treated...

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is perfect - within walking distance to the train station, restaurants, Mercato Centrale, and shops.

Our room was spacious, with a large bathroom with bidet and heated towel rack, exceeding our expectations for a 3-star hotel. The staff were incredibly accommodating, helpful, and friendly.

A few things to note:

There's no elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage. However, the staff were more than happy to lend a hand, even after their shift had ended! As a 3-star hotel, don't expect 5-star service, but the staff truly went above and beyond to provide outstanding customer service.

I stayed for two days and I really enjoyed it. The location is perfect, the breakfast is nice and the staff is extremely kind and helpful. The room was bigger than what I expected and the bathroom was very nice with a beautiful and spacious shower. The only thing that is not ideal (but I can understand why) is the fact that you do not get any light as the rooms all face an internal yard (if they had clear windows, you wouldn't get privacy). I would also like to point out that they have an agreement with a parking near the hotel. Unfortunately, even though the location is perfect, the people working at the parking will not be careful with your car and you will find it covered in scratches.
