Palazzo Gaddi Tivoli is truly a hidden gem in the heart of Florence. Located less than a five-minute walk from Santa Maria Novella, it’s perfectly situated and easy to reach. Our guests and we stayed here during our wedding this August, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience or the immense hospitality shown by the entire Palazzo Gaddi team.

The hotel beautifully balances the designer feel of a boutique property with the amenities of a much larger one. The lobby, rose garden, and rooftop bar are all stunning—worth visiting even if you’re not staying overnight.

Service: We cannot say enough wonderful things about the Meeting & Event Manager, Veronica. From the moment we first visited the hotel, she went above and beyond. Despite our last-minute request, she graciously squeezed us in for a tour that was incredibly thoughtful and detailed, walking us through every option for how we could use the spaces for our wedding events. She even surprised us with drinks and samples of light bites the hotel could provide—a truly lovely touch.

Throughout the months leading up to the wedding, Veronica’s care and attention to detail were exceptional. She coordinated beautiful bouquets to be waiting in our parents’ rooms (they were stunning!) and added countless personal touches to make our stay special. When we checked into the Presidential Suite, we were greeted with a handwritten wedding note, delicious aperitifs and snacks, and a beautiful gift from the Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella. On our wedding day, she surprised us again with another sweet note and a candle from the hotel’s own collection—her kindness and thoughtfulness made us feel so pampered and cared for.

We also hosted several small champagne toasts and celebrations in our suite’s private patio, and the staff was wonderful about accommodating all our requests (and frequent asks for extra glassware!). They helped coordinate taxis for our entire wedding party with professionalism and care, ensuring everyone felt looked after. Our guests absolutely raved about their experience.

Room: We stayed in the Presidential Suite, and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip. The room is spacious and beautifully designed, with breathtaking views and a private patio that connects directly to the rooftop bar. After four nights of wedding celebrations, returning to this serene, elegant space each evening felt like a dream. Waking up to the Duomo visible through our window is something we’ll never forget.

A huge thank you to Veronica and the entire Palazzo Gaddi team for making our stay so memorable. You made our wedding week in Florence truly magical—we can’t wait to return to our favorite city and stay...

This hotel exceeded our expectations! First of all, it’s so convenient to walk to from the train terminal. It is in a lovely area close to so many restaurants, shops, Duomo, museums etc. Upon entering the hotel you will be greeted with a lovely old world mansion that was renovated into a cozy and beautiful hotel. Spectacular decor and charm in every room. And not to mention the enchanting fragrance throughout the main floor (which I just had to buy and is a fragrance made in Tuscany). We were greeted by 2 very welcoming and accommodating front desk employees, offered a refreshment (Prosecco) immediately and checked us in quickly. We then proceeded to our room and it was wonderfully appointed with several luxuries we appreciated. The room was beautiful, on the 4th floor with a balcony, overlooking the street below and beautiful Florence skyline. Only complaint on this room is that there is quite a bit of noise from the room above with furniture sliding back and forth across the floor for a couple hours and was wondering if this may have been the restaurant rooftop above)? But it stopped by 11pm. Breakfast was perfect with fresh pastries, fruit, meats, cheeses, and juice. And one of the highlights of our day was eating in the courtyard. The rooftop bar/restaurant was a sight to see! A view that could not be beat. But food wasn’t anything to write home about and it seemed to be lacking some servers, as they were not very attentive when we needed more drinks or to order something else. But the views made up for that! Checking out was a bit slow and they brought out another clerk but he immediately went to the guest right behind me when I was the one next in line, and we were running a bit short on time to catch our train. But thankfully the gentlemen behind me took notice and told him I was next. Overall, this hotel is a must stay at and we know, we definitely, will be back when we visit Florence again. Thanks Palazzi Gaddi! ❤️🥰 (We really were so enamored with this Hotel and staff! Stay here, you won’t be...

Haifa ALBASSAM (Saudi Arabia) 5 star Subject: Excellent , in all aspects

Our family was planning to stay in Florence for 4 days ( in the hotel (NH plazzo gadi ) but we extended our stay by 2 days , partially becouse of the comfort and excellant service we experiaced , from all the staff ( without exception) .

The rooms were spacious and well appointed and all our needs were met or exeeded .

The location is excellant with wolking distance to all main attractions , Shops and resturants , as well as train station .

The most impartant issue we belive , is the genuine and authentic service.

Alessia and Michele (concierge ) , Veronica , Gregorio and Fabio from front disk are passionate and go along way to respond with a smile and courtesy to the guests requests .

Few examples are : help and support for trips around Florence including special arrangement and transport, in general.

Another example : when a scheduled maintainance by florence municipality may creat uncomfort for us , due to the proximity of one of our rooms to the action , the front desk informed us well in advance and offered another room , just to sleep that night , which we could keep or return to our original room the next day , if wish . More importantely , the were flexable that we keep or luggage and take only our essentials for the night . All of this was done with a genuine offer and intiative from them .

The above reflected very positevelly on our family and certainally it will be a memorable trip for us.

The hotel is very beutiful and cosy , well appointed rooms and beutiful and inviting rooftop resturant , with good service /staff with similar level of service and smile .

The distiguishing factor , which we belive , is the level of service and more importantelly how genuine and authentic.

We certainally...
