We came here on the suggestion of our hostel hosts and their concept sounded promising of basing their dishes around Mozzarella.
Unfortunately, it became the most disapointing experience in our stay in Naples. The starters and the pasta we had were fine (nothing mindblowing or mentionable though). The Caprese salad however was bad because the mozza tasted sour and we could barely cut it with the knife because it was dry and gumy inside. When we pointed that out to the service the feedback of the kitchen was that the cook came stomping out with our mozza in his BARE hands and telling us that we were "wrong" about that while squeezing the mozzaball in his hand next to our table. At the end they wanted to charge us the wrong (more pricey) salad. We even had to whip out the digital menu again to show them their own prices.
Overall unprofessional, unfriendly (the cook) and unable to take feedback. We both work in hospitality at home and know this is not the way to react to customers' feedback. Esp when you actually want to give them an experience of your local food.

Read moreThe concept of incooperating mozzarella in every dish sounded good to us but unfortunately it somehow always ended up being the worst part of the meal. We ordered two appetisers - the bonbon (one of them tasted good, the others didn’t, maybe we were also just unlucky) and the smoked mozzarella which unfortunately tasted burned. The pasta was not overwhelming but perfectly fine, the tuna was delicious and the mozzarella and funny and tasty add on but not an enlightenment. The view however is immaculate. In my opinion the high price is justified by the location not the quality of the food which tastes absolutely fine but if I spend 16€ on a main course I would prefer it tastes extraordinarily good. Since it was the only evening we decided to go out for food it was a little disappointing. This is just my opinion and I do recommend this restaurant to everyone who is willing to spend some money to sit directly next to the ocean and try some fun variations of...
Read moreAbsolutely MUST visit place in Italy, in Campania, Naples. If I could I would rate it 6 stars. This place serves you as a core indridient a mozarella, locally made, very special. You probably never eaten like that before. It comes in different forms: as a salat, as a main dish, as a salmon or tune tartar, with pasta, with meat, and also as as a desert. Super modern and fantastic fusion of this produc throughout the menu, and modern approach to customers. You scan QR code, download pdf menu and place an order. Price range from 4 EUR till16 EUR. Despite of other places, no hidden cobertos. They even served us with a complimentary one espresso, and limoncello and meloncello. And on top of that the restaurant is located in the center of main street along the seaside, so you can enjoy the view of the sea and...
