Tiny shower|I would not called this a hotel it’s more of a bed & breakfast (but without the breakfast as they do not have a dining room). It’s more of a building with narrow corridors and bedrooms. Reception is a small desk no seating area. They do however have a coffee machine tap filtered water and a fridge with juice boxes free for guests. |Rooms are very small no iron in room no kettle no desk or chair no bedside table or drawers, unbelievably bare. just bed and 2 narrow wardrobes either side of the bed very inconveniently placed Each wardrobe split with small part to hang a few items and one with a safe the other with a fridge in it. You have to leave the wardrobe door open to charge your phone/ iPad with only small shelf to put a cup of coffee or drink, As this is the only place at the side of the bed. So if you get up middle of the night to go to the loo you smack yourself by the open wardrobe door. Shower is narrow too small for an average person. |Room is clean. However housekeeping Do not replace shower cap or vanity set or soap when cleaning room. |Two very overly friendly ladies are employed in reception, they work 10-5, keys to rooms had air tags on them they told me it was incase guests lose them!! I constantly had my iPhone alerting me I was being tracked. They also requested my what’s app detail so they could send hotel details such as check out cleaning etc. I received quite a few messages while we were out saying they could recommend places to see and eat. I found this very creepy almost as though I was being stalked. It was a very uncomfortable situation. Oh Staff reading personal passport information that was not on desk at check in. I know this because other lady working there the next morning said to my husband you are from xxxx he said how do you know this she said I read your passport details!!!!would not recommend this hotel to anyone travelling alone. I will never stay there again!!! |Location excellent but there are many hotels...
Read moreThis was our first trip to Italy and as luck would have it, our first hotel was in Rome at the Albergo delle Regioni Barberini! Immediately upon arriving to the hotel we were greeted by Fabiana and Fabio! The fabulous duet assisted us with our bags right out of the taxi. They were articulate and well organized with the check in process. There was a nice kitchenette area stocked with coffee, cookies, refrigerated beverages and a Nespresso machine. Very thoughtful for the guests. Loved the box of pasta made in Italy in our room. Our economical room overlooked the busy streets of Rome. But with the windows closed the noise drowned out some. The beds were moderately comfortable and the bathroom was clean. |We stayed at the Albergo hotel for two nights before traveling to Sorrento and Capri to stay at two other hotels. The experience at Albergo delle Regioni was the best out of them all! Sabina and Fabiana were so kind and knowledgeable about the area. Fabiana helped guide us to all attractions, and answered all of our questions in person and on WhatsApp. They even got us toothpaste and a body sponge upon request.|Fabiana and Fabio made an intimidating train ride to Sorrento a pleasant one by arranging their intern Mateo to guide us to and through the large train station from the hotel. Mateo was also an awesome, kind and helpful young guy! How amazingly generous was that?!|Above and beyond customer service, support and satisfaction! Especially in a foreign country where comfort, security and assurance is super important!|Our warmest regards ~...
