Residenza Scarpetta — Hotel in Rome

Very disappointing stay and unfriendly staff. The treatment received by the staff was awful, they were extremely rude and unfriendly, We tried to call them thousand times but they put off the phone so it was impossible to contact them. We wanted to find our appartment as we were a little lost (there is NOT any label or signboard indicating where is the place or the street number) and also needed to leave the baggage in some place but they were not ready to help the customer in any way. Thank God we could have the help from the woman that cleaned the appartment, otherwise we don't know what we could have done... No one in the surroundings even know the place. The appartment is in a narrow street, you need to climb up many steep steps and the stairs are totally dusty, old and dirty. You would even find garbage bags as soon as you come in to the place. The appartment is not very clean, everything looks about to break and there are no views of the city (remember: narrow and dark street). The shower was not working properly and we told Serena (staff) but she did not even care. Whenever we had a shower, the water was coming out and leaving all the floor flooded. There was not even a mop to remove it. There were no toiletries, only 2 soaps for 4 people. Our bed had hairs and fluffs in the sheets as they don't change them so much. Also they leave a leaflet (it is easy to miss this info as they don't make you aware of it) where they make you responsible of the cleaning and even removing the sheets and in case anything is broken or you forget to remove the sheets, they Will charge you more!!! We paid 400€ for 2 nights and it is the most disappointing place where we stayed to date. Never Will we recommend you to go there!!!...

The rooms are great and very well taken care of! The water is a little spotty but I think that just comes with most places in Rome. Come with most furnishings in the apartment already such as a washer, couch, tv, beds, drawers/dressers, and air conditioning. The floors are hardwood and the walls are pretty thin so being loud may be something that you can't avoid at times. Great place to stay for anybody, it provides everything you need to survive and live comfortably...

Posizione centrale. Molto pulito. Staff cordiale e disponibile. Ho riposato benissimo e soprattutto la posizione così strategica ti fa vivere nel cuore di trastevere, ma un po'...
