Terra Satis is a gem! My family and I ate here twice during our week in Rome in late November. We loved it so much. The staff was so welcoming and warm; the second time we came, Karla greeted us with a bright "You came back!" The food was absolutely terrific. Because we ate there twice and both times were very hungry, I think we sampled a large swath of the menu. Everything was delicious, especially the spaghetti alle vongole and a pasta with ragu bianco; my 8-year-old loved the charcuterie (and the ciocolatta calda). Karla was incredibly kind and friendly to us, making us feel very at home, and she was especially nice to our kiddo. The setting is lovely right on a picturesque piazza, and we loved how the restaurant honors its history in its logo of a young girl carrying a jug of water. Read moreMy hubby and I stayed in Rome for a week and each night we went to Terra Satis. It was our favorite place for aperitivo, dinner, and even for a morning coffee!
We love the ambience — cozy, perfect for aperitivo, and the outside seats are not so noisy and crowded.
We love the food and wine — pecurino, cold cuts, carbonara, tiramisu and their nutella panna cotta are our go-to orders. Their cold cuts are the best so far we’ve tried in Italy!
And most of all, we love their service! The siblings— Kalla and Tony always welcome us with their warmest and friendliest service. It made the experience more wonderful with them!
Highly recommended

Read moreFantastic place for a simple, delicious meal coupled with friendly and warm service. The staff were attentive, appreciated my efforts at the Italian language (despite their obvious proficiency in English), and served us the best carbonara of our trip. And trust me, I don’t give 5 stars for a carbonara easily. I’m one of those picky traditionalists who will judge a carbonara to the last grain of pecorino. Please, please try here rather than queuing for the more touristy popular restaurants nearby. I promise you...
