Roma Enrico Guesthouse — Hotel in Rome

Marco, the owner, reached out to me before arrival to give us more information about arrival. I really appreciated this, as we were traveling a lot during our 2 week trip and it was rather hectic. Marco met us at Termini station and walked us to the guesthouse - which was fantastic. Termini has a lot of exits and if you go out the wrong one, you could end up pretty far away from the guesthouse. The station is literally a stone's throw from the guesthouse. We had been traveling via train from Naples and were exhausted, so we both were relieved to see Marco when we exited the station.||||The guesthouse was clean and there are only 3 units, so you aren't sharing the kitchen with many others. We actually didn't use the kitchen at all, as there's no hot breakfast - just cereal and granola bars. The wifi worked, but wasn't super strong...although this wasn't an issue for us. We really enjoyed our stay at the guest house and wish we had stayed there for the beginning of our trip, rather than at an apartment we found on airbnb. BED BUGS ALERT / UWAGA PLUSKWY

Rent a room there only if you like bed bugs. We stayed there 5 nights and after 2 we couldn’t stand being there. We reported the problem to the staff, they offered steaming the room 🤡 this is both ridiculous and outrageous, because it shows they’re aware of the problem and don’t care about it. I apparently have some allergy to bed bugs and after being bitten on the neck, I had problems breathing, but it also didn’t bother the owner.

2 last nights we slept fully dressed, with long sleeves and long socks on our pants and those bugs found a way to bite us under the clothes. I would share photos, but it’s too disgusting as it is.

Moreover, even if the bed bugs problem will be fixed in future (which I doubt based on previous reviews, which we unfortunately didn’t check), the room is okay only for short stays if you need to be close to the train station. Otherwise, this location is a horror, a lot of drugged or drunk people, it’s not safe at all. The room is too small for 3 people and has little...
