Me and my partner stayed here for a week in January. First thing i would like to say is that the service went above and beyond. Every single member of staff was an absolute delight. The hotel it self is very chic and comfortable, the beds are on the softer side and i like them firm but somehow they suported me well and had no peoblems. Breakfast was great, you get to pick what you want the night before. We did not eat on the terrace as it was January but would love to come here when it's a bit warmer. The location could not be better, very easy to walk anywere from the Vatican to Colosseum and everything in between. There are good restaurants near by and the best Tiramisu you can find (Two Sizes).
I would definitely stay here again ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Things to keep in mind, not complaining but good to know before you book. -Blackout curtains would be nice, bring an eyemask if you are sensitive to light when sleeping. -Though the shower head is big pressure was low. This is center old town Rome so you can't really expect water pressure. -Mini bar was noise but they just removed it for us as we didn't need it . -The hotel it self was probably fabulous when it opened but it need some TLC but nothing that affects your stay. -We made sure to book a room with a bathroom in the room but there are cheaper once were the bathroom is in the hall. I guess thats just were the plumbing is in this old building, just keep that in mind. -Elevator fits 2 if you have a lot of luggage you might have to bring it up in...
Read moreI accidentially find the place on Googlemaps as we were by Pantheon and the Picutres looked amazing! The veiw is amazing. We both really enjoyed it a lot. although the roof top was almost empty we were told that we may be there for only 2 hour max and there was a formular to be filled about data security which was wiered but no problem. As we were waiting for our orderes ( 2 cooktails and a desert) we watched that some other tables got filled as well (Still lots of tables empty) and we saw that most of them got a greeting from the kitchen and we were excited to get that as well and try but we never got it. I have to say for a lokal which is not that big and has lots of employees which are walking very fast the whole time to this side and then the otherside and look overwelmed. And they have a walki talky in their ears in which they are constantly talking. so you get a bit of unnecassary stress from them that for such a cool location with a very chilled atmospharre is in a total paradox. Everybody was super polite but a bit kind of a false nice. ( For example: as the host asked about our experince by paying, i ask about the greeting from the kitchen and the fact that we didn't got it. His response: ''the important thing is that...
Read moreThis is essentially a boutique b and b just steps from the Pantheon, in a great neighborhood of Rome. The accommodations are on the fifth floor, and there is an elevator. They also own the rooftop restaurant. The rooms are relatively large, and we had an en suite bathroom which was great. Staff did a fine job, breakfast was just fine. I gave four rather than five stars for a few reasons. For one, our window was so high up you couldn't see out or adjust the curtain; it felt rather claustrophic. Second, the security is complex to the point where multiple guests were struggling with the four layers of locks both outside and inside the building. Third, we did have dinner on the rooftop, but even with a reservation we were seated directly in the hot sun; we actually got up to leave, when hostess reseated us. The waitress, however, was clearly not happy with us. The food was ... I guess haute cuisine? Pricey and complicated! Finally -- not really a complaint, but we had had a similar type of lodging in Florence with a warm, engaged hostess who provided us with all kinds of local info -- there was nothing like that here. It was...
